So yeah phantom pain is technically a nonlethal spell which I realize before the next episode. So technically a certain character would still get knocked unconscious, just not dying 1.
Having watched some more, it would definitely help you to make use of exploration activities. I see you keep fishing for things "How close are you grtting to the boat to toss the mitflit in? Do you examine this room or just give it a cursory glance?" Its clear you're fishing for then to interact with everything, but if you are using those activities, it already sets the narrative that they are doing that. Also don't forget that creatures should be making rolls against the players DC. For example, Tangletop should have rolled against the players DC to lie. You don't need to wait for players to call for a roll. I feel like this is an old 5e carry over but with the information the players will NEED in this adventure path it's better to play RAW. Because remember, the people who designed this game are the ones who made the adventure and they did so with the expectation that you will run it RAW.
I know you're many sessions ahead now and this was months ago but treat wounds doesn't have a lower DC, it is still 15 in the remaster. Aid doesn't change the DC either, if a player uses aid they have to make the check the player will make, and depending on their success it gives them a circumstance bonus, or penalty if they crit fail. The DC is still 15 though.
soooo i normaly love your vids with d&d but this series seams really hard to follow as half the rolls are hidden not just that but there seams to be allot of borring nothingness if that makes sence.. ie basicaly spent 3hrs and managed to go threw 1 small room lol..
I get that. I appreciate you being kind in your criticism. You dont get that much these days on youtube haha. Ya the hidden rolls i can see being confusing or not interesting for viewers (pathfinder does it that way so the players dont know if the GM is feeding them false info due to a low roll etc.) As for the slowness of the games I think some of that is due to us still learning the game system. Pathfinder has a lot more rules than dnd so its a lot to get our heads around xD. Thanks for watching our stuff! Hopefully we can speed things up in the future and we totally understand if a series doesnt mesh with a some viewers they may sit that one out. If that ends up happening we hope to see you again with future dnd shows!
This is mostly a player issue. I've watched some pretty boring 5e campaigns that would make you want to watch paint dry. For example last session at the end the players dragged their feet so long trying to deal with the blood most and then trying to open the trap door. Where the GM could have expedited that. I mean a couple times you can hear the players saying "Is Meyore going to let us just keep rolling until we get a nat 20? Because I will." Not that I'm insulting anyone here. The players are still trying to get their groove and are learning the system. But this is less a system issue and more a player issue.
@@SwindlersDenthere's a foundry module for streaming that will zoom in on players, show art work, allow it to see all rolls, etc... It might be worth looking into so your viewers see more of what's going on.
You examine the painting and notice the signature "Bob Ross".
"Look at all the happy little ghosts."

Just want to say mister beak is consider a boss in most pathfinder players
Very true! The encounter builder rules in GM core would consider him a moderate threat boss which I like to think they handled quite well!
