Was looking at Roland Martin and was awe struck with your command of the English language Mrs. Elliott. Not simply because I'm in agreement, because the research lines up. Ironically most long term prisoners live and breath this information and has been passed down in there since the 1960s. Its being pumped from the inside out but the general population looks at the convicted of the system like enemies to the human race, and some are. But me myself was one young man criminalized and recorded with record before I even understood my rights. Short story shorter, its alot more of us hip to whats happening than the common working Moe of us can imagine. You see the evidence. We woke!

Let me explain where I come from and my reason to be against this teaching in Anti Racism. My daughter is the result of “white” and “not white”. Now people want her to see us different when she never did causing angst in the family life. She also has the ancestral “privilege” of the Armenian Genocide. Learning true accurate history is something I have no issues with. The race conflict view of life is what I take issue with. I love different cultures and agree the US is like a stew. We aren’t the same but have our own flavors to make something beautiful together. The theories applied (and it is not the academic CRT) says the stew is always in conflict and one vegetable is oppressive and all the other vegetables are oppressed. That is racism no matter how you look at it. I agree “white” and “black” are made up. We are all human. This ideology says we are different and certain vegetables are oppressive by nature not nurture. I am also adopted. This theory says my sister (not white by society) and myself are apparently in non stop conflict. No. We are sisters. Sometimes adopted kids are closer than biological ones I have found. It’s nurture. If you were raised not to look at the world through a lens of race (obviously you can see it) then most likely you are not racist. This theory bashes my family I grew up in and created. My family is not a conflict theory. I actually score low on “privilege” tests. I grew up with people saying we can’t be sisters. My family has been stereotyped by “war on terror”, we eat Middle Eastern food since my family is a stew. This teaches my child we are not equal partners in relationships. This ideology will turn a non-racist view of the world my child has to a race based and therefore racist view instead. Our family fights are not from race but the same stuff you homogeneous families do, trust me..(except for the “white” progressives, so it’s good when they aren’t there for Christmas imho)
