Proud to say an old band of mine opened up this show.
As soon as Amebix gear was loaded into The Triple Rock (rip) I walked over to Roy and told him we had been working on a cover of Cyber God (Roy played drums in Nausea and helped reform Amebix) but it's damn hard playing his drum beats with a single kick! He smiled and agreed. During his sound check, Roy looked over at me and started playing the opening drum line to Cyber God! He is one of the most chill and down to earth punks I have ever met.

DVD/CD arrived this week, just as amazing on disc as it was seeing them live in Glasgow, would have preferred the soundtrack from the dvd on the cd as well, as it's from another show with less tracks, guess there's a reason. Thank you Rob, Roy, Stig for making this amazing document happen, sounds superb, Don't hesitate to buy this one boys & girls😁🤘👍

I hope this has nothing to do with Rob's political views. Sad that he's gone down that path but it has nothing to do with Amebix's music.

@@FedExMeYourDrugs No, I don't live in a world where everyone needs to agree with me 100%. There's no way that could even be possible. However I think his lyrics were really thoughtful and wise back in the Amebix days and to go from that to support holocaust deniers is a sad thing in my opinion.
@@nylonnerves8422 so when or where did rob declare his love of Holocaust deniers? If he is a seeker of the truth then surely all sides of the supposed facts must be read up on, however reprehensible their views, left wing, right wing etc. Reading about facism - bad, voting for it, is somehow fine!, I hope relapse will be dropping all the bands who have members who vote for trump. PS. It's only an opinion, boy's & girls.
@@bigambientdeath Yeah, I should have written holocaust denier. I think him talking about the stuff in public is supporting the person he thanked but yeah I agree that it is just an opinnion. I'm still supporting Amebix and hope that the DVD comes out because I would definitely buy it.
