Ohhhhh...... Hartland Quay! Lovely! Motorbikes AND climbing are 2 of my biggest passions. Best climbing day ever at Screda Point in 2017. Spent the day knocking off a few V.S's then spent the evening watching the annual Hill Climb comp. (NEXT comp is 3rd OCT 2021.) Awesome location. (The rock is Shale and Sand Stone and a wee bit of coal.) The flowing rock formations are known as "Crackington Formations" - made 320 million years ago.

Great views & scenery, friend, thank you kindly for sharing. Couldn’t help a wry smile as you panned back to the crew following dutifully……you must look like the pied piper to the other tourists!!! You caught lucky with that weather, Nathan, if I was a betting man, I’d have lost a lot of money on predicting that one. Keep smilin’ chap…

I'm just back from a Belfast to Southampton & return on a GN125.
Spent sometime re-reading "The Long Ride Home".
While you didn't inspire my first long ride in Vietnam (thanks top gear).
You, Ted Simon, Chris Donaldson & Geoff Hill have pushed me into buying my first bike and my subsequent rides.
    Cheers!

My folks lived in Hartland, and my dad’s wake was at the inn there… special place. Thanks for sharing.

Very nice spot, I’ll have to stop by and admire the view. We are certainly being blessed with some nice late summer days down here at the moment. Long may it continue after how bad August was, an Indian Summer is just what we need.

Lovely. A great place, I once took my amateur radio gear down there and sat by the footpath and worked an Italian amateur who was on Mount Etna! Also they (used to?) run a motorcycle hill climb there. Pictures used to hang on the wall inside the pub. Hopefully that still happens. Les

Imagine the smuggling going on down there a few hundred years ago
