I’m sorry, but most of these players were “developed” away from their current teams, especially in Dortmund’s case. The fact that Dortmund and Schalke utilize young talent is cool, but this video was not about youth development/training or real tactics. It was mostly a puff piece about two sides that recruit young talent from prestigious teams that have already developed them, and the players they’ve recruited.
It would’ve been far more interesting to hear about youth team set-ups and recruitment trends, because that is something that could be considered analytical, and more in-line with the video’s title. Thank you.
