The Glider can be activated while jumping or falling to glide long distances and access secret locations, the game also has certain perks and skills that make the glider useful for specific combat builds. The Grappling Hook can be used to access certain areas that are otherwise inaccessible.
How to craft the Glider and Grappliong Hook in Enshrouded:
- Where to get Shroud Wood: Chop down decaying trees in areas covered in Shroud. You can refer to our Shroud survival guide for additional tips.
- Where to get Animal Fur: Dropped by wolves, sheep, and other creatures that you encounter.
- Where to get String: Collect Plant Fiber from shrubbery, then use the Manual Crafting menu to make String.
- Where to get Shroud Spores: Dropped by cursed enemies in Shroud-covered areas.

2:54, this is by far the best spot (I have found as a new player), by simply adding a flame alter right outside of the camp on the path, you can refresh the game over and over and over for Metal Scraps without ever putting up a fight, and get bonus items like bombs and random what nots from the chest, just loot and refresh, dont bother wasting your time destroying stuff for a chance at scraps, dropping your durability on your items, just refresh!

It has elements of fun at the start, but you must make it through all the reading and training which is extensive.
If you like to log in and just go right to the action, it's not like that.

It saves your world when you log out. Your character is separate and transferrable between worlds.
