I am very crazy with old melodies. I feel very happy when I come to know that I am not alone. There are lakhs of others who are as crazy as me with these songs. Rafi sir, you are matchless. You are all time greatest.
Undoubtedly Rafi has no match. He modulates his voice very well and has sung songs of all kinds. For the old movie "Raagini", there was a classical song that Kishore Kumar was to sing in the movie. OP did not believe Kishore can handle a classical song so OP turned to Rafi. It was incredible that Rafi was the playback singer for a song that was picturized on Kishore Kumar. This was not meant to slight Kishore in any way. Kishore was a very talented singer but OP thought his voice and the manner of his singing cannot effectively deliver this classical song.

Rafi Saheb is a Nobel individual, always helpful and friendly to all and all of us recognize his simple way of living and celebrate his life, he still should be conferred with Bharat Ratna. He deserves it and earned it. If the Govt. Of India fails to deliver this, I suggest a set of individuals should organize and present Rafiji’s family a suitable plaque pronouncing Rafiji with a suitable title and recognition.

Rafi is matchless, no doubt, as he always is. The best we have ever had to date. However, Biswajit should also be commended on his facial expressions and perfect lip syncing a slow paced song which is very difficult.
