    • @chatchaat
      @chatchaat Před 4 lety +1

      @@RyanLendt Hi Ryan. I'm calling it the "Mike part" because you and others on CZcams call the part you teach the Stone part, or the part written by Stone, etc
      I don't know if it actually is the Mike McCready part but after seeing the video of them performing Hail Hail on Letterman I asked my guitar teacher why what Stone was doing is different from what he taught me and I think he explained it as either the Mike McCready part or something about the way they tune live or something like that. I don't really remember. this was in 2002 or 2003.
      Anyway here is the rhythm pattern he gave me (I don't know the name of the chords. they are all three finger power chords. I will give the string and fret for the index finger):
      intro/chorus:
      A5 - A8 - A4 - A5 - E3 - E5 - A3 - A1
      Verse:
      E3 (X12) - A1 (x3) repeat then E3 (x3) - A1 (x9)
      sorry for the long post. the pandemic has idled me so I have next to nothing to do and I appreciate you making these videos
