Well what can i say ... firstly a big shout, thanks and love to 'Nikki' and 'Paper cloud' u absolute
Honestly, i dont watch tv anymore. Ive been watching you since January when i was very ill with my autoimmune disease and fibromyalgia, i was very depressed and couldnt see a reason to get out of bed. Then i discovered your channel. Your light heartedness, your humour and your serious honestly really perked me up. I started wishful thinking that one day id like to go out and do this (like i did in my 20's) but thought it a pipe dream. But you enthused me and gave me hope. I have now been on two car camping trips, trying to push my broken body on small hikes. Ive even got a shed dedicated to my equipment lol. Thanks Adam, please dont ever stop being you x
many years ago, Flintstone truck garage was at the bottom of that hill, the stone tyres remain as a memory of the good old days, yabba dabba doo
Nothing better than a dose of wandering where when life feels like its getting you down 😔 great video pal thank you 😊
Your round stone are millstones for grinding corn or wheat.
Camp next to the footpath on one of the busiest and exposed edges in the Peak District, then complain about folk walking past during a summer night and lack of shelter, what did you expect? Not really wild camping when you walk back to your car with kit in a bin bag, try to find somewhere a little more remote and further from the footpath next time.
People hoping around in the Dark at all hours,I think you may have camped in and found the highest Doggin Spot in the peaks😂😂😂😂
As someone said they are old millstones. The reason there are so many is that the Peak District ones were no good once white bread became popular as they made the flour grey. So lots of businesses just went bust and what you're seeing is how things looked when the workers were laid off.
Omg you shouldn’t need any oil in the pan at all when your cooking mince, there’s loads of fat that comes out the mince, which you should drain before you put the sauce in.
😁 "The storm was so 'in tents' "
The millstones you saw are the actual symbol for the Peak District. There are over 1000 of them scattered across the PD and were used for milling flour and in some cases as sharpening stones. The ones found across the area are abandoned or on the site of old mills and . If you ever see anything written by the PD national park it has the millstone as its logo
Watching you Cook is Always my favourite bit haha
Congrats on 30k mate. Mire people getting the benefits of your miss adventures.
What another great video Adam . I loved doing the wild camping many years ago . But I’m getting on a bit now . I’m nearly 65 years young . Auld legs not working the same . So just need to stick with the van life now . But get out and do as much wild camping as you can Adam . So you won’t regret it when you are older .
Yes not be long till you reach 50 K . You are doing a brilliant job even on tour with the BBC Great location. Take Care. Cheers BK
😂 "I mean, I don't know much about nothin, and less about that."
The allotment is coming on well done to you and bob.
Grinned all through this. That loo story had me cracking up. You could do with a tarpaulin Adam, when cooking in windy weather. That little tent is so cute.
The sound of the rain is so relaxing
Great to see the allotment Adam, keep us updated as to how things go.
