Occasionally can find these "Custom" slot car 1:24 / 1:32 high finish ply wood Routered with normally 8 slots. Have large track power system that counts laps etc. Have seen some for $4k+ depending on the layout. Uses Copper Braid on slot. No Magnents used on the Cars and MUCH HIGHER SPEEDS.

These tracks are made of wood. Many let them milled at wood ships with CNC or also some do it oldschool by hand😉
