My current favorite TV couple, so obviously in love yet not able to say it yet.
Was für eine großartige Meisterleistung. Bin echt, neudeutsch, geflasht Hier stimmt einfach alles. Das ganze Filmteam ist fantastisch. Die Kulissen sind der Hammer. Die Ausstattung großartige Der Autor des Buches hat was einmaliges der Welt eröffnet. Der Drehbuchautor hat die Umsetzung ohne Wenn und Aber auf den perfekten Punkt gesetzt
Und die wunderbaren Schauspieler sind hoch motiviert und versetzen uns in diese Zeit real zurück.
Ach und den Kulissen -ERBAUERN....meine tiefe Verbeugung.
Gut und Böse liegen sehe nah beieinander.

The only thing that pissed me off about season 3 was the fact that they kissed in Ep. 9 and it was not addressed for the rest of the season! They shared that little look at the beginning of Ep. 10, but nothing else! I know they work together and he is her boss so they had to be careful but we all wanted them to show them together more, not just at work! Now we have to wait til season 4.
I haven’t read the books but apparently that’s how Gereon’s character is, he’s very confused and when you think about it after they had their lovely moment, the shit hit the fan for the rest of the season so its not like they had the time to be happy or anything, they had their crazy colleague and then greta, and lotte was dealing with her two sisters while gereon is starting to really lose his mind, from what his brother has done to him, this is obvious in the last episode. It’s a dark show after all
Well after the kiss he saved her life when Ulrich got crazy and started injecting insulin into workmates. Gereon found Lotte when she was in hostage, and he was holding her hand later when she was in the stretcher. And his eyes kinda spoke about his feelings. She also noticed it and glared back

French here and this show is amazing, but broadcasted only on Canal +, a private network.

Best TV series ever made. I must see season 3 very soon. Have read the first four books, the firs I have read in three different languages. The novels are better btw, but love the TV series.

Une série extraordinaire j'ai regardé plusieurs fois les 3 saisons.j'ai la BD mais je suis déçue je sais que la 4eme est sortie et toujours rien en France!!! Canal+ ne dit rien. C'est décevant. Cette série est un chef-d'œuvre même ici. Dites le SVP !!!

This isn't a film, this is a tvshow. And in the books: Gereon and Charlotte are already in love during the Betty Winter's murder case
They are both going through hard times in their personal lives because of family issues + Gereon has his mental challenges and drug addiction. It’s not a right moment to start a steady relationship yet. Maybe in season 4 they will. Let’s hope 💙🌷

I don't see why Charlotte would ever fall for Gereon. So far he doesn't recognize that she has done more work intelligently than he is capable of doing. He is very weak and narcissistic in his private life, feels sorry for himself, is easily fooled, has no clue as to what Charlotte has had to do to survive. I could go on....
The only plot that concluded with satisfaction was when Gereon recorded the creep who killed everybody.
I think I'm done with it because of ridiculous plots or subplots.

We saw her fall for him already. I think it is pretty obvious. It is not as if i am not angry at Gereon ever, but you are being pretty harsh. It is also not that he has had the easiest life. As for the recognizing: he did recognize her work. Was though intelligent enough to not mention it and not reduce all she is to this part. He gave her the chance to work with him, even though she lied and betrayed him.
Obviously she is in love and he is too. And I can understand them both.
It is up to you whether to continue or leave this series be. But please don’t spoil my videos about those two with such comments...

You have to look at this from the point of view of the 1920's where sexism was normal. Nearly every male in the series does sexist acts but Rath tries his best which is a lot more than most do.
We saw with this latest season that Rath has turned a new leaf, fighting the establishment even at the cost of his well being. He fought hard for Benda's wife and Charlotte's friend. Charlotte no doubt saw how Rath was dealing with two huge cases at his own expense.
Rath isn't perfect but that's why you have character development. Any series you watch includes the main character learning, watching and improving. Rath protected the Police Department and works hard to fix things from the inside. He is also one of the few characters that doesn't constantly indulge on drugs, alcohol, money, sex or food. He also has PTSD that he is still trying to take care of but still manages not to abuse the medicine he needs.

I feel sorry for for Charlotte more, and the PTSD she and others like her brought out of those times, just doing what they had to do to survive.
Yes as this was already said you do have to take it in the context that this was the 20s for the twenties he was actually really Progressive thinking that she would be a good assistant and work her way up.
