Hi Dave. For real-time syncing you will need the Live Data Connector which comes at cost I beleive.
Thank you for sharing this. If I have clients working in excel can I import excel document to smartsheet for collaboration purposes then send back out as an excel for those who are not smartsheet users?

How can you export specific multiple cell information into an excel or word form? Kind of like a mail merge.

Hi Yvonne. I think you would need to contact Smartsheet for that. I would have thought there is some kind of connector that enables you to do this all at once without lots of manual effort.
Hi, I would like to send an excel version of the Smartsheet in an email to a customer. When I do that, the formatting is off. Is there a way to set it for the Smartsheet? Thank you!
Yeah, the formatting is mostly lost unfortunately. I am yet to find a way. Perhaps reach out to Smartsheet support to see what they can do for you here.
Gantt chart doesn't get exported in the excel?

Can pictures be exported from Smartsheets to excel?
Hi John. Not via this functionality. I like to use the 'Snipping Tool' with dashboards and other Smartsheet Graphics. It works well.
