My house where I reside is in South Florida. I was in Cambodia in April of 2022 and I can say that I was not prepared for the extreme heat. Laos, is no different and the reason Lao, Cambodian, Taiwanese and Vietnamese people like the wet season. More rain, but the blow torch is off your neck.

We just came back from Costa Rica where it’s early rainy season but not quite like that. Generally goes in a pattern that works nicely with daytime plans and makes it more green and less busy!
Now planning to go back to Lao. My wife wants to be in Vientiane for Boun That Luang. As far as we can sort out that’s on Nov. 27th this year? Is that the date the locals agree is it?

Hey Todd, I've crossed over from Thailand to laos on the Friendship Bridge and got a 45 day visa. December of 2022 usually its 30 but somehow it got 45
Hi, Im trying to plan this summer, I'll be arriving at the end of june/early July. Does the rain last for days on end? or its is more like partial days, fast hard and short, or just really inconsistent?
Fast hard and short mostly. We always travel in the rain season.. prettiest time of year 👌
