It takes a special ability to make your music hit people straight to the heart and this here is ability.
I've watched this clip so many times over the 4 or so years it's been up, and every. single. time. It crumples me to bits. The guitar tone is magic. The touch on the guitar playing is SO perfect, the little bit of breakup as she digs in is so elegantly controlled. She plays the guitar like Buckley, like a piano. It makes me want to throw my guitars off a cliff and pick them up and play them in equal measure.
Tone of Adele with the melodies/vibrato technique of Matt Corby. Haven't heard a voice this honest sounding in a long time. Her songwriting takes it to that next level, though.

I feel like I've transported as a fly on the wall of a young girl's room, trapped in the intimacy of her loneliness as I secretly observe the raw and sacred breaking of her heart for the very first time. Her soul is so alive in her music I feel immodest listening to the honesty of it, as if I should offer her a blanket to spare myself the guilt of gawking. A blessed fly indeed.
I'm just finding Winnie Raeder now, and my life is now complete. I haven't seen a more authentic heartfelt performance.

I don't think you know how hypnotizing you are. Every time listening to you is like hearing you for the first time, and I cannot stop. Even your fingering on the fret board holds me. You're the perfect blend of Blues, R&B, and Soul. How I've lived this long without your voice is a mystery. I need it like I need my next breath. I really hope you read this. I'm going to keep looking for your music until I find it.....all of it.
I appreciate Mahogany Sessions so much. I feel like God knew that one day I'd discover them so he allowed them to happen just for my happiness.

By the sound of her voice, I just knew that she was a pretty well-known artist with plenty of songs. But I can’t find her anywhere! This will definitely get her name out there! Amazing!
Mahogany always making my day better
The feelings of loss are real.! Now I Understand made me think of the day in the future when my mother or father dies, how is a person suppose to handle losing someone that has been part of the foundation of your life? This world is filled with too much pain.
