    There also might be down pipe exhaust seals that leak out the temperature, they last 50 to 100 k and that’s why you might get the code for temp not getting hot enough.

    I should watch this video before calling for help. For my derated engine. @i 80 Illinois . I spent fckn $5900 hundred . They just fckn rip me off. Instead of cleaning My 7nth injector . OR just changing it. Man you're SMART. I learn something from you tonight.. thanks. I'll recommend THIS video to the new owner operators out there. .       Same here I believe. The shop just changed my filter $4300 and said the truck is fixed. A few weeks later SAME PROBLEM.

    Also replaced the filter inside the def pump.ots like $90 on dealer

    Carb cleaner has to be good for spray on bed liners.

    I make a leaving doing this and with technology the engine wont blow, over a egr valve. Over time egr failure will cause a derate or substantial coolant loss. Which is bad cause it couses dpf and doc issues, derates and poor performance issues. The way they design engines now is pathetic, its all about money

      Is it real that because of bad 7th injector , the Coolant tank on top can crack ? Because some sort of pressure my Tank Cracks every 2 months… what can be the problem ??

    7th Injector doesn’t have anything to blow the motor. It’s nice but better to change the gasket and try to loose the bolts while it’s little hot. It will be easy and these won’t break inside.

    don't forget to check the dosing valve on the left side, it could be clogged, it may be stuck closed due to not getting enough air pressure telling it to open or the fuel cross over line may be clogged to so no fuel means it won't get hot enough to do the regen. good luck

      bergerk20 yup. They are complete junk and I have done about 30 of them on different trucks this year and average about that same number in years past. Good thing is shouldn’t take someone longer then 30 min to and hour to change it. Thanks for watching and I have a video on that on the channel as well.

    Just get rid of it. The whole DPF system is the killer of the engine and would cause you bankruptcy

    So was it the long term fix?? What was the codes the truck was showing?

      I’ll have to pull up the service report for the actual code (s) off my computer as I don’t remember off the top, but from where the driver has refused to let it park regen it clogged that injector and built up soot to the point it entered derate , and once it was cleaned and allowed to circulate it went through a parked regen and was fine. Emissions components and procedures unfortunately are not just a suggestion and this happens constantly if not addressed. Sometimes though even after replacing with new parts a forced regen is necessary (premium tech tool is needed)

      make sure when you did that cause he didn't mention is not just cleaning make sure you can blow air throw the hole. if not is still glog

      8526 Productions when I ask other guys they tell me the coolant needs to be drained, idk

      Manuel Salgado i think thats on isx15, has coolant running thru the 7th injector to cool it. No coolant on d13

    This video is laughable. Do not clean the 7th injector. Per oem replace. Even if you go through all trouble shooting step to see if injector is at fault say to replace and do not try to clean.

      @@Oscar-vr2md good luck getting it off in the middle of nowhere. You know how to properly diagnose a 7th investor? You got a spare gasket once you remove the injector? It's cast iron exhaust where it is. 8/10 the 10mm bolts break off in it. You got the tools to get that out? Your scenario is unrealistic. Moving on.

      Just replace the entire truck. Problems solved
