Mr Mukherjea's road show meets SOIC -- after similar sessions with finance influencers like Rachna Ranade, Groww, Akshat Srivastava and sundry others. The playbook is the same: if you have heard him once you know what to expect...chor companies -- BUYER BEWARE, cash is king, capital allocation, moat and be prepared for praising sky high the stocks he is currently holding. As if those companies were the best thing to happen to mankind. Never mind if some of those stocks are then dumped very soon!

Someone had remarked in one of Sourabh' s sessions that he is a rock star among fund managers . Nothing can be more true .Have been trying to follow him from last three years .What he brings to the table is very very unique.

It’s always great to listen Saurabhji, person with clear and honest advice, only question I have is, I have understood that quant is very agile technic, where strategies changes as per macro and micro both, so I am not convinced about reviewing portfolio every six month suits this strategy, as it changes from momentum to value and value to growth quickly
Half-hour into the discussion Saurabh realized you have not asked any question to the other guest, so he cleverly brought him in by letting him answer one of the questions which was posed to him.just a suggestion always talk with both the guests for a few minutes first, then you can proceed with further question.
I think some people got taken in by Saurabh's style of conversation and his strong opinions for his portfolio companies, people started thinking he has an infallible approach now with a few stumbles like Relaxo people have started demonizing him. He is neither infallible nor an utter failure..he is a fund manager who will try to get the best returns for his investor and will succeed sometimes and fail at some occasions. That's it. As retail investor we should listen to him and many others and draw our own conclusions, blindly copying is a sure path to disaster.

One and only question in my mind is that how this quant thing is different than their existing non performing or loss making pms? He talks about same principles for little champ and consistent compounder but still making loss, only different thing here is python?

Ishmit, next time when you call two geniuses, pls ensure both are equally engaged throughout the interview. You made Mr Krishnan wait for 30mins & Saurabh deliberately transfered a question to him & that I see is just to get him involved. It feels embarassing for an interviewee to wait for 30 mins & not asked anything out of 10-15 questions that you asked since the start of the interview.

saurabh is very good in marketing but worst in delivering returns, a fool can invest in index fund and beat a intelligent person like suarabh all the time. saurabh doesnt have courage to hold his stock for 10 years long , itna assan nahi hai, ache ache ki lag jati hai, book mei likhna r dusro ko gyan dena esy hai bas, warren buffets told that greatest skill is pateince
