They are just very happy plants. Especially once they self seed and pop up in the mist wonderful places that you could have never planned 💕 Wishing you a lovely weekend 🙋🏻‍♂️

Loved this video so much ! Such an apt topic for this time of year ! Also thank you mentioning the peat issue, because most CZcamsrs just don't talk about the damage to peatlands caused for the sake of gardening. 🙏❤️❤️

Thank you so much for your wonderful comment. I felt it’s definitely important to point out that it’s really important to use pest free potting mixes. They work fantastic and it’s so easy to do at least something good for this planet 🤗 Wishing you a lovely weekend 🙋🏻‍♂️

Thank you for sharing 🌱💐 I'm in Zone 3 Canada and added poppies to my garden for the first time last year and I love them. Looking forward to seeing your garden in the spring.

I've never had any luck with poppy seeds. Maybe it's already too warm when I plant them. I'm always so envious of people who have them and then they actually reseed themselves! I'll try some again this year (when it's still cold) and keep my fingers crossed!

To be honest: In the beginning I wasn’t very successful with poppies either. Direct winter sowing does the trick. If in doubt: put the seeds in a teabag (that absorbs the moisture) and put them in the fridge for two weeks. That mostly works fairly well. Keeping my fingers crossed for you 🤞🏼🤗

Just found yor site. Will follow! Perhaps someone has mentioned this concerning Baptisia. They have a taproot and once planted don't like being disturbed. They are native to the Great Plains in the US where I live. One of my favorites. Am starting them using a winter sowing method somewhat different than yours. Any questions let me know!

Hi Mary and thank you sooo much for following my account 🤗 I‘m sorry for my late reply. I honestly appreciate your amazing comment a lot. I found it so helpful that I mentioned it in my first ‚quest and answer‘ video ☺️ Many greetings from the Baltic Sea 🙋🏻‍♂️ Daniel

That poppy you've mentioned looks like it could be "Amazing Grey" I will be winter sowing them here in Canada and see how it goes! Got any update on the baptisia?
