Daley, I've been watching you since 2019. You are my favorite CZcamsr. I think you should make a TABS video where you create your own map and faction then create a massive battle against every faction. I think it would be really fun to see what you come up with. If you see this please consider my suggestion and if you don't want to do it than that's fine but please consider it.

@@lewyseynon5374 You know, The Brits weren't any better in 1940. They just live on an island safe from the Blitzkrieg.
The French weren't bad either, the Germans had been better in movement and speed execution. It makes a big difference in point of view.

French tanks were too scattered in WWII and as you said French command was still in WW1 doctrine. They served as infantry cover.
Instead, the Germans used them as armored units to break through enemy lines

Well the irony is, tanks largely have become infantry cover again, you could argue they became infantry cover again before the end of WW2.
Case blue was seemingly the last time tanks being used how they where during the blitz of france was done initially successfully, and even that eventually failed.
The battle of the bulge proved the days that tanks could operate without considerable infantry support was over.
Portable and widely available AT saw to that.
So if the French had invented and mass produced bazookasz, or other types of portable AT, then their armoured doctrine would have been the correct one.

The best way to defeat the French tanks was to go around them. It helped that the nazis got their hands of French battle plans from former British king Edward the 8th, who was a nazi spy, and churchill, being an idiot, gave Edward access to Franco-British battle strats by giving him a role in Franco-British relations in France. Now to make it clear how obvious this was, even the french generals (the same ones who insisted on using motorbikes for messages and all of that stupidity) picked up on it and sent spies to watch edward. The French being incompetent and switching sides meant that Edward was still able to send the plans, and he miraculously ended up in neutral Portugal after the whole fiasco (almost as if the nazis picked him up and drove him to portugal). Now even neutral Portugal made a note of the fact that this horrid guy was probably a nazi, and they had 0 reason to care in the first place! Despite all of this, Churchill now gives him the position of *governor* of some random islands, and this is only because King George himself was now encouraging action to be taken against his racist, horrid brother, before it was just the entire Parliament, clergy and most people in the country!

There is zero evidence the man spied for Germany. There is evidence he had sympathies for the Nazis or at the very least just didn't like Jewish people, but beyond taking part in talks about a potential Anglo-German alliance against the Soviets (talks that the Germans had with high profile men in almost all European nations) Edward had no official contact with the German government. He had unofficial contact through German relatives during Christmas one year, but that was it.
After the war started he did stay a spell in Spain, but the only negatives about his time there was a conversation he had with a man in Franco's government where he explained that Britain would surrender if bombed correctly, and he blamed the foreign office for starting the war and blamed Eden for Britian losing the war.
After that, there is no connection between Edward and the Nazis.
So despite him clearly being a looney, and over assuming how much influence he actually possessed over British politics, there is no evidence suggesting he went so far as to commit treason. You are lying and a disingenuous person who shouldn't be trusted. The Germans didn't get their hands on french battleplans from Edward, Edward did not know the location of French divisions.
And the irony of you calling all these men idiots, you are a nobody calling those who shaped humanity idiots. You need help.

Yeah, he sure did shape history, by getting millions of people killed!

@@tk-6967 In addition, you are fond of talking about things you clearly know little about.
The famine in India was mostly caused by much of the crops of North East India being burned, in anticipation of a Japanese breakthrough in Burma. It's called scorched earth policy.
When the Japanese breakthrough failed, and the famine started, plans where made to ship food to India, but the ships needed to do so where instead sent to Europe for D day and the maintenance of allied garrisons around the globe, combined with the fact that not many places had food to spare meant that attempts at stoping the famine failed. To claim that Churchil was responsible is bias and untrue, and in addition, the Raj was a dominion, it had its own leadership that did not have to act in accordance with Churchil but only the parliament, and even then it had the power to act relatively independently in terms of its policy, so again, why don't you for once stop lying and/or just learn about the situation before talking about it.
As for battle plans, every battle plan gets people killed, the UK didn't lose millions of men and Churchill didn't draw up the battle plans himself, he would point out areas of operation, but the actual battle plans would be made by generals. You can make the argument about Gallipoli, but ww1 knew worse battles, and the reality of that battle was that if it worked it would have been the greatest victory of the war, purhaps saving Russia from revolution, knocking out the Ottomans and pressuring the Austrians. It would have lead to an early end to the war, if that's not a plan worth trying I don't know what is. But it failed. Such things can happen in war. The only way to avoid it entirely is to only come up with battleplans that work, but typically the enemy has something to say about that.
The reality is, most the leading figures of the Tory party wanted to sign a peace treaty knowing full well the Germans would accept it and would most likely let Britain of the hook. it was expected of Churchil to be the fall guy for when the cease fire and subsequent peace treaty was going to be signed, Churchil didn't do this however and the man was single handedly responsible for keeping Britian in the war. You haven't killed people you say, I'm glad to hear, there is alot of talk about what you haven't done l, but more to the point, what have you done? Not much I imagine, your are an ant spitting on the feet of giants.
As for the looney remark, it may imply mental illness, and you may interpret that way, but it was so ply meant in the context he was a silly man. But since you aren't very good at comprehension why should I bother.
