Also "Harry's first friend" isn't neccesarily Ron, for instance he meets Hagrid before he meets Ron, and I would argue that they're friends too even though Hagrid is much older
Yeah, Hagrid could also be his first friend. However, I would still see Ron as his first friend as he was the first kid he became friends with, and which he clicked with from the start.
Adults are expected to be kinder towards kids, or they (usually) tend to be, while kids are more straightforward, which is why I think Harry would have seen Ron as his first real friend.
But that's just what I think. 🙈
@@QuizSkull yeah guess it's a valid point I just always thougt Hagrid was almost like a kid mentally which is why he became more of a friend than a father figure. Anyways it's just a potterhead's interpretation:)
