damn that wink at the end, any chance we will get a kiss from you if we studied hard? :c
Hi Masud, is it possible you could explain how you wrote and structured your free essay on stretching. I have read it multiple times and i still struggle to understand how you structured it and what you were evaluating. Thanks !
Also I know I haven’t started the course yet but the essays are just a general worry of mine, especially how to write and structure them.
Hey Lewis,
To be honest, I am rubbish at essays and I would not be able to give you a detailed explanation.
In university, the main thing they grade you on is being able to present a balanced argument using clinical research.
Usually there is an introduction , main critique and conclusion, with references at the end.
Introduce your topic of focus and brief background on it.
Present your argument backing it by evidence and then use other evidence to present a different point of view, then conclude it.
You will have plenty of help when you start the course. It isn’t something you should be concerned about before.
Just take your time and you’ll get better with time as you move through the course.
You missed out having condoned fail. Where u given the credits but below the pass mark. Does condoned fail work for masters
Hello ! I failed in one of the essay which costed 20% of the final grade , and other 80 % I am getting anxiety thinking it would not make me get that 50%
Wait, I only have suspicions that I might fail an exam from my second year but passed all modules & I’m confident that I passed my 3rd year modules. Does that mean I have to retake everything in the second year? If that’s the case this isn’t fair
Can you do a vid on specialising like the benefits how to specialise and stuff like that please and if specialising gets higher pay
They are telling me to retake the year cus I failed my practical ughhh. I’ve not been offered a 3rd attempt.
That’s unfortunate to hear man, it’s not easy so I understand. Which year are you in?
Hello bro one of my frd fail 1 resist exms 3 how many resist will they give chances for exm masters
Hello can you tell me what can I do after taking bachelors of biomedical science degree?
Bro i need help!
I have a resit coming up and i might fail
What will happen if i do? Will they make me retake the entire year for failing one module?
Thanks
Did they ask you do the entire module because some university will suspend you for some time
where are you from?
Hi Masoud are all written resit exams coursework based where you dont have to come in Uni?
Masud, many unis want a certain grade in PE or biology at A level for physiotherapy. Is BTEC sport the same as PE A level. Thanks.
Hey Oliver, good question. I can’t give you a definite answer as some unis have different requirements.
It depends if your BTEC is sport heavy or has modules in biology and science.
Best thing to do is call up the unis and speak to admissions about the modules in your course and weather they’d accept you from that if you achieved an equivalent A level grade in your BTEC I.e distinction = A
@@masudsaeediphysiotherapy8689 yeah, because currently we are studying a lot of anatomy and physiology. Anyways I will emails unis. Once again thanks Masud .
Hi Masud I was interested in going to physiotherapy with sport injuries nad rehabilitation, I got a place at St Marys do you know any physio's who studied their ? I don't know much about the uni and what the campus and environment is like for the course and due to covid I couldn't see the place in person
Hi Damian, awesome. I don’t unfortunately. It’s in Twickenham - West London. Quiet area. That’s about as far as I know buddy
@@masudsaeediphysiotherapy8689 yeah same ! Quite a good place for studying then and getting things done if it’s quite a quiet place. I kind of know the area as my grandad lives quite near Richmond.
There you go, atleast you’ll have someone you know to start you off
@@damiansnow6170did you end up going ?
@@sstevogb no I went into Vet Medicine
Hey Masud, How many hours per week independent study would you recommend doing? And how many hours did you usually do? (specific to 1st year)
18-20 hours
Not In Nigeria
Masud, I have another question. Lets say someone study’s physiotherapy at a lower ranked uni then someone else will that other person be less likely to be employed? And would it be easier for another person who studies at a higher ranked uni to progress up the ranks faster, e.g. working at a football club?
I don’t think so Oliver as every uni has set minimum practice standards they have to adhere to set by the HCPC. It’s all subjective, but ofcourse some unis may have better facilities or more qualified staff to lecture so this plays a big part as well as the overall student experience
Great video..
I like Physiotherapy profession and I want to become physiotherapist! ;)
Do you like your profession sir?
Thank you Aateka, why do you ask such a question 😅
I am physiotherapist planning to persue master degree in uk... Found your channel very informative..
I m confused to select university for master?
Which masters are you doing
@@masudsaeediphysiotherapy8689 I am planning to go for master in advancing Physiotherapy 1 year
Hi Masoud I was currently registered on a programme to do MSC in Physiotherapy last september but due to personal issues I took some time out and I can return to studies in January 2022. However in the meantime I have been looking at another programme called MSC clinical exercise physiology which is really good. I heard a career in Physiology is really good and you can work as a physiologist in the NHS at the same banding of a physiotherapist. But which career is a better option. I'm tied in both.
Also how do you improve your academic writing skills because my main issue at university is referencing and writing critically.
Finally should you remember the whole anatomy and physiology before getting onto the course. If not what are the tips and advice you can give to someone starting the course. If you can answer these that would be much appreciated. Thanks.
Hi , I can personally only give you an opinion based off my experience and I only know physiotherapy so it would be a biased judgement as to what career path is better between physiologist and physiotherapist…. You have to make that decision on your own using the information available..like this channel
Academic writing can be improved with practice and reading how to write critically. Speaking to personal tutors, seeing examples of it in practice (have a look on my channel - there is a video where I give two of my essays as examples - it’s called ‘how to smash essays’ here is the link : czcams.com/video/qO5kjQNEXZ0/video.html
Anatomy knowledge you can learn whilst you’re on the course, don’t worry too much about it now. If you want just learn the muscle names and their actions of the shoulder, arm, knee, hip 👍🏼
@@masudsaeediphysiotherapy8689 thank you so much for this.... I love your channel....
