Hey loves! Today we are going to chat about curl Density, Texture and Porosity.
There are so many different ways to find out what your density, porosity and texture. By finding out these things about your hair you will better be able to pick hair products for your hair.
Hey loves! Today I want to chat about curl shape because early on I got really hung up on it. I only looked at and followed girls with a similar curl shape to mine. While this is a good building block, it can sometimes cause us to hyper focus on finding people with the same curl shape. We can even get confused why we have 5 different curl shapes on our own head. I always assumed my hair was thick and coarse because everyone always would tell me it was. I was always frustrated that these heavy creams and butters were weighing my hair down. Then I found out that I had more fine curly hair and these heavy products were not for my curl type.
