- Seventy-five years ago, the Kansas City Monarchs won the Negro League World Series. The Negro Leagues Baseball Museum is launching "The Heart of a Champion" campaign to help remember the win.
I was named by my father who was awaiting my arrival Tracy Davon Jackson the last child of Isaiah Jackson to see these articles is Amazing
Jackie Robinson is part of the seven-man Monarchs line-up on the south side of the Buck O’Neil YMCA building mural, just a couple blocks from the Negro Leagues Museum. It’s my favorite mural in the city, a must-see (and a great meditative experience) if you’re taken the trouble to see the museum which, if you’re a fan at all of baseball, or even if you’re not, you’ll never forget. #Monarchs #Satchel #Satchmo #Satmar #KC #AtTheBat
