- Today's video is part three of our series from Los Angeles, CA. We tour an incredible 2000 Gallon Saltwater Aquarium in the Hollywood hills. This may have been the coolest home aquarium we've ever seen in person. Director, Writer, and Producer Jeff Tremaine was kind enough to let us film his awesome aquarium, designed and installed by Infinity Aquarium Design. We previously toured a luxury koi pond and a 500 gallon cichlid aquarium on this trip ... what else do the Cichlid Bros have up their sleeves for this trip??
Huge thank you to Nic and Joe from Infinity Aquariums! Find them at the links below:

Thanks for watching, and we'll see you next week!
I love watching that yellow puffer 😂. She’s 👍🏽 great
That was my favorite for sure! -Troy
beautiful
Saltwater tanks just bring out a new world in fishkeeping 😂
Definitely does!
Awesome tank
👍🏻👍🏻
Wow!! The best tank I have ever seen, I want one of those...
Wow! Breathtaking….
Man that filtration room is sexy lmao (I have a problem)
That tank is living art
Hands down the best home tank I’ve ever seen
We might have to say the same!
@@CichlidBros unreal dude
not at all.. Not one coral in there..
Yep, and no coral would be left with these fish…
@@CichlidBros I know they should get an emperor angel, only reason to not have corals..
This is why ive been in the hobby 35 years. 🐠. Nothing else like it. 💯
very beautiful saltwater tank cool fishes
Beautiful
Great, great video!! I was hoping to see you guys perform some stunts for Jeff Tremaine. Well, actually I would like to see Quinn do that since he never does anything. 😂😂
😂😂😂
That tank never gets old! Glad you got to see it in person. 🤙🏽🐠
Thanks again for having us! It was a blast!
This is just a work of Art 🎨 ✨️ 👌🏽 💕
You are on top of it. Cheers. ❤
That's what she said
This is Most Definitely A Over the Top Aquarium. As far as Size it's My Dream Aquarium. But Probably Fresh Water Instead Of Salt Water. Kudo's To You All.
Thank you!
I'm not a salt water person but man they are just so beautiful. Maybe some day I will take my shot at a saltwater but right now not in the cards
Saltwater is often considered the "graduation" or freshwater. Trust me it's not. If you stick with easy corals and fish it's way easier than you'd think. Just way more expensive, but if that's the case you could do rlly cheap with a nano.
@@jaylonmarikar6829 yes sir, if and when I add a salt water tank it would for sure be a small setup. Lol then I would fall in love and have saltwater MTS (Multi tank syndrome). I already have freshwater MTS.
Saltwater finsh are absolutely nice looking, but not many people want to deal with the extra hassle
I was in it for 32 years finally gave it up so much happier more money less stress now it was a pain in the ass corals are expensive and they die if everything isn’t perfect it was too much for me.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
That is an AMAZING tank / filtration system!!
Very beautiful and very interesting to hear about this tank guys great video thankyou ❤
Thanks for watching!
Absolutely beautiful!! these recent videos and shorts have really gave me some great ideas for my next home or if I ever get rich!!!#goals
Absolutely stunning tank. Very impressive. Back in the day, i had salt water tanks. I had many different triggers. I miss it, but i don't have the energy or money to do it again. But it's really fantastic. I still keep 12 tanks freshwater.
Appreciate the tour fellas. That's what I call a state of the art "smart aquarium" 😅 Very impressive work!
I thought I had a decent setup at home, this is just next level niche!! Nic and Joe really know their stuff, great vid!
Invite the cichlid bros over for a review of your setup. They might come
This salt water aquarium is truly next level! I can see by all your reactions of just observing the fish that this was well worth the trip! Thanks for taking the time and effort for the upload bros! Nicely done.
That’s absolutely gorgeous. I can’t imagine the upkeep.
Sounds like they have some great equipment and plumbing to help with that!
I have never seen such a variety of fish in a home aquarium. This truly is next level. I’d love to see it again after the morays are added. They will truly complete the tank. This LA series has been world class content. I’m glad I’m a subscriber.
Agreed on that! And thank you for following along with the trip and channel!
This is over the friggen top! Marvelous ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Thanks Cichlid Brothers! ❤ 🐟👍
Thanks for watching, Jerry!
Awesome video
Thanks!
Can imagine how many African cichlids can be in that size tank ? Nice vid bros ❤
The imagination Calculator online says it can comfortably hold 382 African Cichlids.
Nice tank! Def lots of unique fish. First time i've seen a tank of this caliber with artificial coral. Clearly he is a fish lover and you cant ever stock those angelfish in a DT with real coral.
The coral reefs are artificial?
Truly a beautiful display tank with great looking fish 🎉👏🏻✌🏻😊
People who don’t work in the industry just can’t understand how difficult it is to keep a aquarium of this size and with a artificial insert this clean, especially with such large messy fish. This is a incredible tank and how you keep it so clear or biofilm, algae, diatoms, cyano and dinos is so expert level. Incredible work well done.
Definitely agree!
I would sure like to know how the 5ft deep acrylic panels are kept clean and scratch free?
Love the Tassle Filefish! variety of fish is incredible exellent workmenship great tank
Gorgeous!🥰
🤙🏼🤙🏼
That life support /mechanical room must of cost a small fortune..love it though awesome job 😊
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
He sure is proud.
Pride is the root of all sin.
Kind of annoying how many people are being whiny about it being fake coral; the stars of the show in this case are the fish, and these aren't fish that you can keep with coral. I'm a reef keeper myself, but too many salty folks can't see beyond the coral reef and really miss out on some wonderfully beautiful fish.
the fish are kind of boring. so I don't get why everyone is so raving about it. the tank itself is great, but the fish and fake corals are blah.
#1 🏆🥇🏅
👍🏻👍🏻
I love my fishes more than my family
You guys are the cichlids bros, have you been to 7 seas tropical fish yet?
How do they control algae? Tank looks pristine.
I have 2 marine tanks myself and this FOWLR while it is nice, there is nothing special about it besides a size. None of the fish are really rare and keeping fish only tank do not require as much time as mixed or sps tanks would. You have monitor much more parameters, lighting is much more expensive and complex too. For fish only tanks you don't need any of that.
When he is saying he has fish variety that are never seen together is partially true, because people tend to choose corals instead. Most of those fishes will go after corals like no tomorrow, so when you are keeping FOWLR you don't need to worry about trigger and puffer going after your inverts, angels destroying your beautiful and expensive corals. Having couple tangs in 2000 gallons is super easy too, I have 2 in my 100gal.
Basically people that have no time or are lazy will opt for FOWLR tanks as they are much easier to maintain
This is a Fowlr tank because of the fish. 90% of these can’t be kept with corals. It was Jeff’s choice to keep the fish that he liked. And there are many fish in this tank that are very rare or hard to keep.
1/2 of my love of my aquarium is my corals and the challenge of keeping them alive. Lost me on fake corals
The client wanted specific fish that aren’t reef safe…
I get that and the tank looks amazing. I guess there are people who just love the fish but not the maintenance involved in keeping corals.
@@CichlidBros
@@TheDesertraptor yep, just a different type of aquarium. Similar to keeping cichlids that may not go well with live plants
Just curious is this salt tank or freshwater
Saltwater
How do you acquire a fish from the Sea of Cortez and not expected to be aggressive? Humboldt squid live in there. Anything that lives with Humboldt squid is going to be very aggressive.
If I wanted to get an Oscar with one black convict and one electric blue cichlid what size tank would i need? 75? I couldn’t get a straight answer when I looked it up thanks!
How is there no bio film or even coralline algae on those inserts?
They are on top of maintenance and water changes
@@CichlidBros oh I guess no coralline was ever introduced because they don’t put any snails or rock with it on it…
Couple grand to keep this maintenance bi weekly
I think you guys too... Remember me? I like fish...
Lovely fish but I can't do those coral inserts-
Would be a bare tank with these predator fish then
@@CichlidBros Doesn't have to be bare bottom -just start the tank with bare rock and let the coralline algae grow over the rock. The tank would look more natural and make the fish pop. But that's just my opinion. 🐠
Love saltwater, hate big fake obnoxious coral
I prefer coral tanks..
And this client preferred the fish
It's really hard to focus on what his saying with a dog barking in the back ground. This is why I don't do CZcams. Because my two don't know how to be quiet 😂
Can't control everything...
Pardon me, but we learned absolutely zero about the 'engine room' water-quality control and nutrient export methods. Much ado about the engine-master but what about Nitrates, PH, phosphates and so forth? Dosing anything ? A nice tour for school children for sure. Nice tank. BTW....
They are an installation business. There are some things you can’t show or talk about without competitors taking their work…
That gray angelfish looks like he needs some more room to swim.
Lol okay 🤦🏻♂️
Why is it all fake? This would be beautiful if the corals were actually real.
There’s a full explanation in the video
There's a lot of salt water fish that eat the coral so the stock would be limited if they went live coral
I don’t like to comment bad. But keeping fake reef tank. To me as a reefer is like having a fake shoe or fake watch. Is a waste of time and money I’m so sorry but only a person who have no idea of aquariums will like it Big waste of time and money 😢
I guess you completely missed the conversation about the reef insert. Remove 90% of these fish and you could maybe have corals 🤷🏻♂️
It’s too bad it’s not a Reef Aquarium
Wouldn’t be able to have 90% of the stocking
Only fish...
That’s correct
A tank like that with fake coral? Lost me instantly
That’s about 3 minutes in the video explaining why it’s necessary. Can’t have 90% of these fish with coral
Get real corals
Would have to remove almost the entire stocking
@@CichlidBros I know the sacrifice of a not reef safe fish is really aggravating but beautiful tank dimensions stock and overall appeal.👍🏼
Coral inserts are a total waste of space! Just put in soft corals, they are super easy to keep!
We discuss this for about 3 minutes in the video. Even soft corals would not fit with these fish
How many pinkie toes were sucked to get these tours? Nice work
Plastic corals?? Fake reef
Yes, as explained in the video
Plastik, Plastik wo man hinschaut nur Plastik korallen 👎
As explained in the video…
