People can see how much fun it is to catch reds. Been doing it for 60yrs. now. Specks are fun too. A few miles west of y'all, Golden Meadow, Leeville, Fourchon, & Grand Isle. Good video & I know the meal was great.

It’s so good to see they still have a healthy population of red fish around but I have no caught one in over five years. We need to outlaw those pogie boats. I know they pushed them out into the gulf more but they need to be stopped completely

Long overdue to comment on your channel. You do a GREAT job with the videos - every aspect… catching, informing, cooking and promoting St. Bernard Parish and coastal Louisiana fishing.
I have much of the same passion. And been catching some serious redfish from the kayak using many of the same “tactics”. I also love St. Bernard Parish and a favorite escape of mine is bringing the kayak and pop-up camper to St. Bernard State Park and fish that entire area.
Thanks for the great videos and for your genuine love of fishing and love for Louisiana.

Your trip reminds me of my trip back in the early '80's when Daniel, yes, the same Daniel on Swamp People, and his son took me to Southwest Pass to red-fishing. One of the best trips of my lifetime. Back then Daniel was tall and skinny and i think the son is the oldest guy, who's also on the hit series.
