The WW trilogy is by far the most interesting part of this whole universe imo, and that's a massive accomplishment, because I know jacksquat about the character
Unlikely I'll make a phase 4 so here is the direction I would've taken it. If I did... I would start to explore the mystical with the JLD (Constantine, zatanna, swamp thing etc), as for the street level heroes, they would continue their war on Ras Al ghuls criminal empire. Now, whilst the mystical side builds it will converge with the cosmic leading to a Blackest night event for the 6th GL movie, the first big event movie since JL3, dead heroes will come back to become foils of our current heroes etc Whilst the universe will fill out with protégées forming a team (titans) or certain heroes getting some spotlight (blue beetle/booster gold movie) it will all converge (mystical & cosmic) to Blackest Night.
EDIT: I was super rushed to have this video out on time, so that’s why scenes or interactions got cut, when Hal appears at the watchtower I was going to have a moment where he sees the flash only for him to turn around realise it isn’t Barry, this is where he learns of his death and grieves a bit. Booster was going to have a few more scenes, this movie just serving as a launching pad for his own movie, also wanted to explain the mechanics of taking out the flagship more as that would’ve been a huge part of the movie, plus a few scenes explaining Batman’s arc a bit more fleshing out his decision to sacrifice himself, however time really constrained things here
Sad to hear that Sir and yes you haven't finish the GL Saga on Phase III( by the way what you did there on GL saga is Chef's Kiss truly epic and what the GL deserves)
But if you ask me you should continue the story coz im intrigue how will you continue the story after that Epic Act, Like a Responce on how to follow up that ending new stories and like how the do's/don'ts like criticism on how MCU phase IV is Turning out now coz there struggling too.
How to establish new Lesser Known heros after the OG heroes are Gone and how to continue the story after the climax.
Maybe a like Kingdom Come Ending would be great ending if the story will continue?

This was such a well put together saga, felt like I was actually watching the movies! Hopefully James Gunn can deliver something close to this quality for the current live action DC universe.
I have suggestion for your Supergirl and LSH film: Instead of the Fatal Five, the villains could be the Justice League of Earth (from Geoff Johns Superman run). They are group of super beings who auditioned for Legion, but were rejected, leading them to become villains. This could not only allow the film to explore topics such as prejuice and class division but also creates a similarity between the villains and Kara, who also loses her trust on the Legion after finding out about her cousin dark future.
In the end of their film, the Legion could learn from their mistakes and try to be better organization (maybe by creating the Legion Academy or the Legion of Substitute Heroes)
This is the greatest DC Universe pitch I’ve ever seen. I was actually invested in this the whole way through as if i was watching a TV show. You did a phenomenal job with all of these videos.
I really love how this take on the dc universe is about humanity, it's about what makes someone a true hero, to hope for a better tomorrow
I like the fact you put the focus on humanity as a theme. I feel marvel needs that humanity back in there heroes rather then just avengers 2.0.

I know I'm late to the party in writing this comment so you probably won't see this, but I have absolutely loved these pitches (writing is a hobby of mine and it's gotten me inspired to actually adapt your pitches into screenplays). As an avid DC fan as well, there are some things I would do differently:
First off, I feel like we could have used the "Lex trying to clone Superman plot" to more of its potential; instead of it just being Bizarro, I feel like it would be a great way to introduce Conner Kent Superboy and maybe even Hank Henshaw's Cyborg Superman, with Cyborg Superman being Luthor's first attempt using the Metallo metal from the first movie to make him, Bizarro being the failed first attempt at a DNA clone, and Superboy being the successful one. I feel like this would pad out the runtime well, as I feel like Superman fighting Bizarro once in the middle and then Luthor at the end of the movie just isn't really enough events to pad out a 2 hour movie. Bizarro leaves Earth to find someplace where his warped perspective is normal, and Clark maybe brings Conner to Ma Kent and gives him a family pretty much.
Another thing I would do is put the Batgirl series in Phase II right after New Gods (this would make it a little bit after Nightwing's release). As Jason will be introduced in Nightwing, he could also appear in the Batgirl series in place of Tim, so when we get to Batman 3 Jason's death will be that much more impactful. The Batman Inc. stuff could be worked around so that we wouldn't have to include it in this series. In Batman 3, I would also basically adapt The Killing Joke and A Death in the Family into one story, with Joker doing the absolute most to break Batman by paralyzing Barbara, trying to make Commissioner Gordon go insane through it, and then killing Jason near the end so that Batman is completely broken by the time Justice League 2 comes out, which explains even more so why he acts so cold to his friends in that movie. I wouldn't have Red Hood yet because I feel he warrants his own movie.
Then, in Phase III, something I'd change is I'd give Aquaman a movie cuz I feel like he's interesting enough to warrant a duology with the sequel being in Phase IV. The first one would basically be James Wan's movie with some tweaks to dialogue to make it less cheesy.
Also in Phase III, I'd have a Robin HBO Max limited series that'd introduce Tim Drake and sort of adapt A Lonely Place of Dying, with Tim throughout the series trying to convince Batman that he needs a Robin. It should really make us love Tim and want him to succeed so that it's a very triumphant moment when Batman offers him Jason's suit at the end but Tim out of respect makes himself a new one.
This brings us to (also in Phase III) right before the Adam Strange series, I'd have a fourth Batman movie: Under the Hood, which would adapt the Under the Red Hood storyline in a more meaningful way as Jason's death has had time to breathe, allowing it to be more of a surprise and an impact when he is resurrected (which also builds up the Ra's al Ghul storyline even more). This movie would pretty much adapt the Under the Hood storyline from the comics with maybe some minor changes and additions, except you could have the Batman Inc. stuff here instead of the Batgirl series. Maybe in the beginning of the movie as Bruce is recruiting new bat-people around the world, he hears of an international mercenary calling himself the Red Hood killing crime organizations throughout the world and he's set his sights on Penguin's operation in Gotham next, making Bruce come back home to stop him. I don't know, just spitballin' here.
So for Phase IV, sticking to the general ideas that you talked about in your comment, we would have Green Lantern: The First Lantern come out to kick it off. Then we'd have a Battle for the Cowl HBO Max limited series where Dick finally decides to become Batman and Tim goes off on his own as Red Robin to figure out what his mission is if Bruce isn't around. Then we'd have "Blue & Gold," a Booster Gold/Blue Beetle movie. Then we'd have a Hellraiser movie with John Constantine. Then a Red Hood and the Outlaws HBO Max limited series expanding Jason's character more and maybe bringing in Roy Harper as well. Then Aquaman 2, which could have Black Manta as the main villain while also introducing Garth; see Arthur actually struggling with the duties of being a king, which is something we haven't yet explored in this universe. Then we'd have a Swamp Thing HBO Max limited series that would dive deep into the horror aspects of his character (Phantom Stranger could appear similar to the actual great Swamp Thing show that was sadly cancelled). Then there'd be a Batman & Robin movie adapting Damian Wayne's introduction with Dick being Batman; it would bring the Ra's al Ghul storyline to its climax with him maybe working with Deathstroke to kill Dick so we get that Dick/Slade rivalry from the comics, and I think it'd be very interesting to see Dick (Batman's son in every way but blood) try to tame Batman's biological son from being a bloodthirsty assassin to a Robin. As well as this we could have Wally West appear, as Dick could really use his best friend's advice on how to live up to the name of his mentor similar to how Wally did with Barry. Then we'd have a Zatanna movie---self-explanatory. Then a Titans HBO Max limited series could show Tim finding his purpose in forming the Titans with other protogés of heroes to fight some threat like Brother Blood or Trigon, idk (Since Dick is Batman at this point it wouldn't make sense for it to be him to found the Titans). Then there'd be a Justice League Dark movie with it heavily setting up Blackest Night. Finally, it all culminating with Green Lantern: Blackest Night as its conclusion---like you said, having dead characters come back as Black Lanterns and shit would be extremely interesting.
So that's about it from me, but I honestly cannot tell you enough how much I connected with these videos, as I've held the same vehement views for a long time as well and would love to see DC do something along these lines. Thank you so much!

This is amazing but one thing I’d change is have the villains of earth help the heroes further hammering home the point of redemption and humanity since they don’t want to see their world go even though they are bad it will also show the cynical audience that villains can be redeemed too a certain extent since they are willing to put they’re lives on the line for humanity even if it’s just a matter off just wanting to survive
I like this, he said that if he had to continue it would probably be an event for Blackest Night which is a thing where a lot of dead people get revived, I would save the villains helping for that because not only does it have the message of redemption, it also has the message of the collectiveness of grief because villains on their journey have lost people they care about as well

Just a post watching note: The threads of your wonderful plot need to be tied more completely in order for your denouement to be complete. Specifically, what happened to Bruce/Batman in the source wall? What happens to Bruce and Darkseid after they fade from view? If you could address these missing parts, I would be very grateful =). Definitely a fan after seeing this wonderful production!
They become part of the Source Wall. This scene was taken right from JLU Tv Show and that's what happened to Luthor and Darkseid.
In JLU, Luthor and Darkseid become part of the Source Wall. In some versions of the comics, the people who fail to go beyond through the Source Wall become the statues and remain conscious, staring into space for eternity. In my interpretation of SUPER FRAME's DCU, is that Bruce is the ONLY person in universe to able go beyond the Source Wall because he is pure of heart instead of a conqueror. It is the opposite for Darkseid who realizes something is wrong when he touches the Anti-Life Equation. In my view is that Darkseid becomes part of the Source Wall. When Bruce went beyond the Source Wall, he likely met The Source/Presence/God who gave Bruce the Anti-Life Equation to defeat Darkseid.
What happens to Bruce? Maybe we get a post-credit's scene where he goes to Heaven, reuniting with his parents. The Presence offers Bruce the option to stay with his parents, or become the Spectre, the divine spirit of vengeance. We get to see Bruce's face contemplating this decision and the scene cuts to black.

I absolutely love your pitches for a DC Cinematic Universe, I would've loved to have seen it play out on the big screen, but it makes me optimistic about the future of the DCU when it comes to starting fresh.
This entire series, from Superman to JL 3, really reignited my love and passion for these characters and concepts. Especially Green Lantern and Superman. Great job man! Love all of your videos, but these were definitely my favorite. Could only imagine what you would’ve done for Marvel.

Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman; We immediately think of them as heroes of the Justice League, but what about the others? those who live in their shadows? Perfect theme to explore
This is once again - incredible. Felt like I was close to actually shedding a tear during Superman’s and WW’s final speech even though none of this was real. I like the change of Bruce being the one offering the anti-life equation but it does feel like its so fitting for Lex. That ending for him gives him such a good ‘redemption’ but it’s also such a great ending for Batman. Maybe have Lex join the League and have him and Batman both join Metron and when faced with the task of having a pure heart or whatever we see batman take a step forward and then we cut the scene there but when they get back to earth only then we see a flashback of that and see that Lex was actually the one who stopped Batman and took his place recognizing his intention were more pure or something. It can be justified as Lex being the representation of what humanity CAN be. He represent the peak of humanity - the good and the bad whilst Bruce is too focused on the mission or isn’t seen as a beacon of hope anymore as he works in the shadows again after JL2 and even his batfamily is very divided. This way Bruce can be kept around and maybe set up a Batman Beyond spinoff and perhaps have him around for a future batman who laughs storyline for JL4/5 after the magical side of DC is explored as you wrote that you’d do for a phase 4. Maybe Batman can be declared ‘dead’ in the battle but Bruce stays around and uses his money to rebuild everything and retires as Batman for a while or indefinitely.
This video randomly popped up in my recommended and I then saw that you had a series of it. I watched the whole series in a day or two and I can honestly say being a big fan of DC this is near perfect.
What an amazing saga! I like the arcs you gave for each hero, allowing their trilogies to be their own stories while also being part of the larger DC universe. My favorite was the Flash, with Barry sacrifice and Wally taking his mantle was very unexpect and unique compare to the MCU (in which there wasn't main hero death until IW and Endgame).
Absolutely agree! The only thing I would change is that I think Superman, Batman, and Wonder Woman should be the only founding League members to each get their own trilogy. Not just because they’re the main DC trinity, but because it would free up room for more characters in this saga. The HBO MAX Green Lantern show could be sufficient to do Sinestro Corps War and all that as long as it’s well executed. Then, like he said in the Flash video, it only takes one film for Barry to go through his signature character arc of learning to slow down. The only thing that we’d be losing is his mentorship of Wally, but that could be easily supplemented with a Teen Titans trilogy where Wally is a founding member. Then, he could take up the Flash mantle after Barry dies, now in JL3.
@@lewisholiman9237 That could work, although I really like FRAME idea of Barry dying as part of the build up JL 3, leaving the league in difficult situation, having lost a main member, and could give nice arc for Wally now having to work with this big heroes. It could be nice way to establish the friendship between him and John Stewart from the cartoon, with John acting as second mentor for the new Scarlet Speedster.
@@alexandrefrauches132 Kyle would be better as Wally's friend than John. After all, they were pals in the comics, even tho it's not as iconic as Dick & Wally.

Something I truly hope is that something along these lines plays out. I feel like Gunn really understands that humanity through line and now that he has the power to control the glue that holds the franchise together--we'll get something at least half this good. I actually got a little choked up with your descriptions of the emotional moments of your excellent outline of how DC could have had an awesome experience. Your outlines put to shame the actual writers of the DCEU.
This is a DC Cinematic Universe I want to see, the one thing I’m a little disappointed with is how we don’t see Barry and Hal interact much which at this point is basically all I want to see for a live action Flash/Green Lantern (I find it to be a crime for DC that we haven’t seen that yet), aside from that, with what these movies mean, this is what a DCU should be, Marvel being heroes becoming more than what they were while DC is all about humanity and our potential to be great despite how much a lot of people make it seem otherwise, Wonder Woman always fighting for that truth, Superman holding on to that hope, Batman persevering for that belief and my gosh I wish this was real, hopefully Gunn will keep that meaning in mind for the DCU especially after how the DCEU didn’t get that
Edit:One thing I’d also like to say with the whole Batman leaving the League thing in Justice League 2 is that I’d like for Superman to at least partly support him. He’s obviously not fully on board with his friend having plans to beat the crap out of him behind his back but he understands Batman’s reasoning behind it and just before Batman leaves the Watchtower through the teleporter in another room, Superman walks in, has a little talk with him, and gives Batman some Kryptonite like in Justice League: Doom (maybe the League destroyed whatever Batman may have had after beating the Legion of Doom) just in case he ever did go evil. I think it’d just be a nice moment for Superman/the World’s Finest

I loved it. Great job. I love DC Comics. Because they fight the small fights. The fights a police officer is seen to fight. They even help with fires. Not just the big and / or flashy fights. Unlike Marvel Comics. Spider-Man is the only exception that I know of. Not even Captain America. Iron Man said, "That is below our paid grade. " The willingness to fight the small fights is a sign of good character. This is why I like DC Comics and Spider-Man!
This was a great series of videos which I have rewatched a lot already and I’m sure I’m going to rewatch this one a lot as well.
I would’ve loved it if in the final Flash movie, after Barry dies, there are scenes of regret from a few of the Rogues, showing that some of them actually had some respect for him and morals of their own. I thought your Flash pitches were really cool and that was just a thought that popped in my head.
My main criticism of these videos are their handling of Diana. While I actually did really like the sound of the final Wonder Woman film as a Justice League film, I’m less enthusiastic about it as a Wonder Woman fan. I feel like her trilogy should show her and her mythos far more, since she has a really interesting supporting cast and rogues gallery that is rarely properly adapted. Wonder Girls, Ferdinand, Circe! Give me the works!
I was, however, very satisfied with that final Justice League! My favourite part about these videos have been Superman and I love how much you clearly understand him. His whole journey has been 10/10 perfect.

A great set of movies for a cinematic universe, I’d totally watch them. Especially your idea for a third Wonder Woman movie.
i fricken love this series, like you don’t understand how much i respect you and love this series. although one thing i would change is have a shazam film in this phase to balance out the ominous feeling of the phase and give a charming wholesomeness since we finished the superman trilogy. and have wally and dick be old friends, so their interaction feels more real.

I actually love the fact that Marvel splitted the finale into 2 movies. The point of that was to show how that heroes don't always win. It basically stole Final Crisis's tagline "The Day Evil Won". The finale you pitched while not a bad one certainly feels much much less impactful.
What I would do for phase 4 is have it fully center around batman traveling around the multiverse similar to the run of batman comics where he went to multiple realities and times. All culminating into a finale of batman who laughs being the villain

All i can say is this is perfection in its purest form
I have only 2 problems with this one of them is the casting mainly because the age of the actors isn't considered the other is that there is a lack of diversity the other problem is not using wonder woman's supporting characters like Donna Troy

I feel like Shazam could've been really good for the humanity theme as he is an orphan who was abandoned by his mom and when he gets his powers he saves civilians showing his humanity to a world that didn't accept him and excluded him

This is an overall such well thought through concept. I hope the folks at DC take the same tine and diligence. I do have very little hope as this would require understanding their own source material and accepting that their fans might enjoy a movie with a well crafted story over bombastic effects and moral bullet points.

Batman being the one to take down Darkseid once and for all seems rather poetic in a way. In the end, the undoing of the most powerful villain the Justice League has ever faced turned out to be a very capable man in a business suit. Wow, this really is like Destroyer.

I don’t like that we didn’t see much of Hal and Barry the scene in the. justice league 3 doesn’t have any emotional-weight because we didn’t see those 2 (Barry and Hal)together enough all we got was a line in the first justice league film and a cameo showing. Barry was talking about Hal and that’s it.

Building off the comment about Larfleeze fearing Darkseid, that would tie really well to the orange lantern’s avarice. Like trying to get more power to face the threat but driven by greed to keep obtaining more.
Tbh the only thing that I disliked throughout the pitch is the utilizing of Robins. I feel like each of the Robins (Dick, Jason and Tim) should have their own shows, sort of like a Robin anthology show per season to flesh out their characters more. Maybe by the end of Dick's Robin season, he would contemplate on staying as a partner with Bruce, leading to his eventual leave in your Nightwing pitch. While Jason could be established within his own season, could show how he started off being fun and cheerful to dark and violent like in the Under the Red Hood movie's flashbacks, and then his eventual demise which would segway into the third Batman movie. While Tim's Robin season that takes place after your Batman 3 pitch could showcase how Bruce was not reluctant on taking another protege, until the end of Tim's show where Bruce comes into acceptance with taking on another partner. Also I don't think Batman Inc should be the way to go, since it's a smaller scale of a team in your pitch.
-Honestly, I'm surprised by the lack of Shazam, Blue Beetle, Huntress, The Titans, Constantine, Zatanna, Firestorm, and many other JL members that would've been useful in the final battle with Darkseid. BB, Shazam, and Constantine could've had films in either of the previous chapters to set them up along with other characters.
-I dislike how under utilized Booster is. You could have introduced him in a Flash project, acting as Barry's advisor when it comes to time travel shenanigans, or at the end of a Blue Beetle project. Booster Gold would know how the battle with Darkseid ends, and he'd know what to do ahead of time to prevent the casualties and change the course of the battle so the league comes out on top. Just saying, time travel was the turning point of Endgame and Booster is one of the more competent time travelers on the League's roster.
-Wonder Woman 3 doesn't feel like a Wonder Woman film. Mostly because Diana wasn't even in the story the film is based on. I would've done something along the lines of a live action Public Enemies, with Lex Luthor going after Batman and Superman using both heroes and villains. Powergirl could've easily been replaced by Superboy (Conner obviously), maybe even have Bizzaro be his prototype (I know Match exists, but he's lame.) Also, I wouldn't have him die so he can interact with Supergirl, who'd see him as an abomination at first and slowly warm up to him overtime (Their relationship would be developed in a House of El series. I wouldn't have Kara die either.). Wonder Woman 3 could thrust Diana into a conflict between gods and mortals as she is forced to battle the beings who empower her thanks to trickery from her long lost sister, Circe. The whiplash is insane as Diana goes from plunging into the underworld to clawing her way to the top of the heavens, where she'll face her father and sister. (This movie would be a good place to introduce Donna Troy, Cassie Sandmark, and maybe even Billy Batson)
-A better Captain Marvel moment would be to have the actual Powergirl arrive from Earth 2. Clark seeing Kara at her full potential just after seeing his cousin die could be interesting to develop in future projects.
-Barry and Hal don't even interact on screen despite their friendship being established in a previous film? Hal doesn't interact with the JL until the third movie that takes place after his best friend's death? Hal doesn't have any notable interactions with Wally, who's wearing his best friend's name and suit? Hal doesn't interact with Oliver to establish their epic bro triangle? Oliver doesn't have any notable interactions with Barry despite the existence of the Arrowverse?
Yeah because I think they could used Genocide and Grail the Daughter of Darkseid as the villains for Wonder Woman 3

Grail would work better as the antagonist for a New Gods film where there’s a power vacuum on apocalypse due to the absence of Darkseid. Orion and her would make great foils.

Great video Mitch. Really how in-depth you have planned out this universe and what direction you think it should that will keep fans satisfied for their characters' done perfectly on-screen. Hopefully this is something similar that will happen in the actual DCU with James Gunn and Peter Saffron; maybe not point by point but similar plots, castings and adaptations. I always enjoy watching your videos about characters' ideologies and what motivates each of the characters throughout their stories. Even how they can be adaptated for the movie and TV Shows along with what make certain adaptations work or not. Keep up the great work and I look forward to more video analyses that you have planned in the future - like a X-Men movie pitch for the MCU.
Since the DCU is going to proper explore the Bat-Family in it's universe and have their own stories expanded to some of them having their own projects in the future. So my question is, who would like to play characters such as: Batwoman (Kate Kane), Bat-Wing (Luke Fox), Spoiler (Stephanie Brown), Blue Bird (Harper Row), Signal (Duke Thomas), Jacob Kane (Kate Kane's Dad) and Red Alice? I doubt all of them will get a chance to shine, but I think each of them are really interesting characters and should get more recognitions for DC Fans. Especially since if they are protrayed correctly and have unique stories - it will make more fans love these underrated characters (like what they did with Guardians of the Galaxy and even Aquaman).

While I think you have a great idea down for what themes each movie and hero should represent. A lot of the plots for your pitches outside of the Flash stuff feel kind of weak. I'm not trying to criticize what you made but it's just you can tell which characters you are more interested and invested in then others.

Great ideas but I would have changed the ending, I’ve actually been thinking about this for a bit, the league decides to take the fight to darkseid, they use zeta beams and go to apokolypse. If you’ve seen Batman/Superman apocalypse then you’ll know how this goes, Batman locates the armory and hijacks the hell spores while the others fight darkseid, Batman appears provided the league a opportunity to escape and then detonated the hell spores. As the planet is collapsing Batman and darkseid trade a few blows before Wally catches up to Bruce. They go into flash time where Batman explains that he needs to make sure darkseid “can’t come back” he pushes Wally of taking himself out of flashtime as he falls downward once again kicking darkseid and right as darkseid fires his omega beams Batman stabs his eyes with batarangs causing a small burst of omega energy, Wally reaches Bruce but he’s to late, he grabs what’s left of his cowl and opens a zeta beam returning to the watch tower. I think this ending suits Batman better and is frankly cooler
even though i would love, to see a Phase 4, but... I actually think, this should be different from Marvel and end on a high note, because there is no stories to continue, to have an emotional impact, and would feel like a retread, but in saying that i would to see how you would do an X-MEN universe, like if you were fox back in the 2000s and had the rights to those characters.
Good point, however there are still stories they could tell with Justice League Dark and younger heroes like the Teen Titans
