I love the vibe that the other Sonic have, feeling the pain and going crazy but still doesn't care, he's just too goofy, it reminds me alot of those musical moments in Disney movies, it makes the character more entretaining and fun, even if he's scary, the interaction with Sonic, not understanding too much and him makes this really fun to watch, i liked how you made this, awesome animation!
I'm guessing that the void face sonic (end) is a past player, because the white face sonic later becomes a void face sonic after you defeat end and the cycle continues

THE LORE FOR ANYONE WHO CARES: There are two friends friend 1/monster sonic has killed a woman and is gonna bury her body on the top of green mountain, but friend 2/normal sonic is not aware of the plan, so when they get to the mountain friend 2 realizes what friend 1s plan is, then friend 2 gets angry and attacks friend 1 accidentally killing friend 1 (Why does sonic turn into nonster sonic): its a metaphor of him becoming a murderer just like freind 1/ the first monster sonic. (EX Theory): in dialogue between friend 1 and 2 friend 2 says they did not bring shovel and in the main theme of the game 811 is repeated several times in the dmtf sounds so friend 2 might've called 811 (the national number you call when you start a digging project) to bury the bodies. (WHY TECHNICALLY NORMAL SONIC/FREIND 2 SHOULD BE SINGING THE SONG): it just makes more sense beacus freind 2/sonic beacus of the lines "so show me that wich i cannot see even if it hurts me even if i cant."
The past playor was the black sonic and the other sonic is just a different character the other one is turned into the black sonic so sad and the animation was just so good 😊 😢
This is really a great animation, but my favorite part was the consistency of the animation. In most cases, most notably in both versions of sonic, they have less fluid animations, like a drawn animation. For other things, like the background clouds, they're extremely fluid, contrasting with the main animation we see. This is really apparent at the end, where sonic's face falling off has a less fluid animation, while the game over words have an extremely fluid scroll-in, which is honestly kind of unsettling given the overall theme of the animation as a whole.
