Welcome to the States! Looks like fun 😍
Love you, Aimee! Nice to see you here.
Wow it's Aimee. You are moving up Gen! :)
Aimee taught me how to golf through her CZcams. She was the first video I ever watched on golf. Thank you Aimee!
Thanks Aimee!! Love your channel 😊
If that last drive was "out of balance" then my drives must look like i just tripped over a sleeping dog to you😂
First time playing a Texas dirt patch and you shot 2 under? You go girl!!!! Now do you understand why there is a term "Texas Wedge"??? LOL You can hit your best shot and end up on a dirt clod with green grass 3 inches away. Well done Gen! Welcome to the USA!!!
growing up on texas courses, watching someone come play here for the first time is really intresting!
No hand flap today....actually wasn't needed but I love seeing you coax the ball in!! Also, great IG photo of you and 2 of your followers, very nice indeed that they're able to watch and even greet you!! Thx for sharing with us Gen....yes, you've got this, on to the next tournament!
Remember add or subtract 2.5 yds per 10 degrees above or below 80 degrees for ball flights.....
Love the squeaky flagsticks in the wind!
Reminds me of the "Last Picture Show"
That "hey yall" tho! Welcome to Texas! 😊
Diamondback National - Home of the Squeaky Flag on the 18th! Great for your game to be playing in these different conditions I bet...keep it up!
This is my home course....great round great swing!
How very amazing is the game of golf and sports with its ability to bring people together. How very remarkable is the fact that you were playing in Malasia and now you are in Texas practicing your game, and we can see your progress thanks to the magic of You Tube. How very wonderful, you will soon get used to the courses in TX because you are an amazing talent, a very resourceful person who always persevere. Bravo, Genevieve!!!!
Gen, you're playing well. Keep it up. Best of luck in your next tournament!
Your short game was outstanding! Keep it up.
Evolution golf. Adapt to survive. You'll be good Gen. You got skills. ⛳ 🏌️
The positive can do attitude is what will carry you through your journey. Thank you for that. Makes my day better.
Good luck in the next round Gen, we are all supporting you from afar - Scotland and Istanbul for me
Full swing looks excellent. Short putting is also excellent. I think the greens will hold a well-struck iron shot so you can be aggressive when the distance is a good fit...Good luck!!!
Keeping in high spirits is great and such a good putting : you will tame the course(s) and the competitors 👍
Good first round - something to build on - have a good one today!
Nice first round at Wichita Falls. Wishing you a good round today and making the cut.
Following you on WAPT. This is all so cool. Go Gen Go!
Omg. This is my home course. Have fun.
Snakes are possible but not likely in the early spring but always be careful. Armadillo or tarantula more likely. lol! My daughter referred to the water hazard on this course as, "the trench of doom".
I played there a few months ago!! They actually worn you about the snakes!! So yes don’t go off looking for your ball to far 🤣it was a fun course glad you got to play it.
looks like a much better start at wichita falls! good luck and hope you go low today!!
Wow!! What a great round!! Your putter was on fire today, gave you all the 'tap in pars' you are known for!!
Wow wonderful first round to build on!!! Keep it right there and be patient. The good scores are coming!!!! You’re putting is superb Gen!!! Beautiful skirt too!!!
I only played a the courses on Ft. Hood and one outside of the base back in the 90's when I was stationed there. But it was a different style of golf compared to where I came from. Lots of wind and the one course was really open not that many trees the other way a bit harder more trees. It is great to see how you are going about playing in these conditions!! Hey if you get a chance maybe you should try and contact the Good Good guys. They are in the Dallas area. Maybe you all can play a round together?
Good vid. Thanks for keeping us to date. Please pay attention to the grain on the greens as it has big influence on speed/breaks on the green. I learned that about a year ago and it has helped me to gauge my speed better when putting.
Love watching you golf and commentary Gen, I'm on night shift up north here, best wishes
Keep working at it, you have the shots and the skill to make the shots you need. There are options from just off the green with a lot of green to work with, putter, 7 iron, wedge.
You beat the conditions. You win
Nice round . Two under. EnJOY .
Welcome to Texas!
As usual, well done and stay safe
Looks wide open in flat there. Should go down to Austin/San Antonio area more hilly.
Course I play at is in a valley so hardly any flat spots. Plus penalty areas in all directions, Some tee shots need to carry 100-200 yards, need to carry some greens because of ravines in front and penalty areas left and right side. It's only 6600 yards from back tees but it's challenging and fun =)
I used to live in south Texas and it is some of the hardest golf you can play!!
Forth worth has done awesome courses. Played a couple when I visited in 2020. Waterchase was really awesone
Looks like you had a decent first round in Wichita Falls. The weather down there today, Wednesday, doesn't look too good in the afternoon and you play in the afternoon. Hope you have good weather gear. Good luck, play well. Thursday, rain predicted in the afternoon. Hope you can get your second round in, in the morning and third round Friday. Good luck!!
Which golf association / tourney is she part of again?

Great to watch your round. Lovely solid putting to hole out too!
"the wind got up right when I hit it" the CZcamsrs go to excuse😂😂😂. Congrats 27th and in contention so far. Keep going Gen
I wish I could blame the wind for knocking my ball off line a few yards rather than blaming my banana slice for winding up 50 yards off line. I'll take Gen's word for it seeing how good of a player she is.
Love the hey y'all!! Best of luck on your second round. Go team gen!
Hey Gen... Looks like rain is effecting the tourny in Wichita Falls... hope they can get in all the rounds.
@10:50 exactly, proof that confidence will always be beneficial
Hope you are not losing too many tees with just you to look for them Gen :)
Getting into a groove, wooo go Gen! 💪💪💪🙌🙌🙌
2 under for a course that you've never been play. This is why you are Professional!
Yip...you need to master the low stingers with 3 w, 5 w and hybrid. this will help in the windy conditions and on that dry surface.
Gen is picking up Texan accent 🤣🤣🤣
One month in USA?
The greens will be quicker during the Tourny - Those squeaking flags wood (pun intended) do my head in!!!
Hey Gen.I Think You Have Warm Up Now.You Play Better & Better.God Luck.Bye
Hey Gen, Swing looks great. Studied a lot of those early Tiger years swing i see
I love you channel
Have a good second round today!
Welcome to Texas. Come play down here in Houston
Yardage: “Oops, I forgot”
😂
Gen,
When you're in the US, maybe you can try Covered Bridge Golf Club in Clark County, Indiana
Are you planning to come to Houston. Would love to play a round with a Pro!
I wonder if Gen had a caddie for the tournament? I think it's crazy not to have a local guide for the tournament on a new course and new conditions, no?
Wow fairway looks very dry and sandy.
Wichita - prediction is Top 10 (being conservative). Go, girl!
Do you work a gapping session into your pre match practice, as climate conditions must be a lot different to your Home Courses.
Not sure how the cooler dry air, compares to your usual humid conditions, obviously the wind is another matter.
I know if I play in one Country I have to play a lot less Club than I do at home, due to the Warm Dry Air.
Second shot on 10 is super confusing visually given where the green was on the hole behind ... looks like you were hitting 90 degrees to the right of the pin, haha.
Played in Austin, Texas last year around this time. You’re right about the hard pan conditions and wind. Had consistent 60-70 yard roll outs on my drives, even a couple that went around 100 yards. Time to get comfortable using your “Texas Wedge”! Good luck in this tourney Gen👊🏼🙏🏼
hope to play with you someday! stay safe
What is your elevation change vs home course? What about humidity ? Funny how these effect our play.
Bet it’s nice playing in conditions that require 2 layers.
I hope you know some of the ladies on the tour. Looks a bit lonely for you right now. GOOD LUCK!
Whats your irons, woods, driver setup?
ie Shafts, weight etc
Don't forget it is colder in Texas now and the ball does not fly as far.
Could someone tell me have the fairways been sanded?or they like that cos its winter there 🇦🇺🏌️♂️🙏
Don’t you get a course map when you sign in ? I suppose you could Google it xx
Most of the courses I play have diagrams of the hole on the scorecard, and many have signage on the tee box showing the layout. Does this course have either of these? If not, it's very hard to play the first time or two. I've played hilly courses where there were neither of these and the results weren't pretty. Not a good experience for a first-timer.
Hi Gen! 👋
👍🏽
Hold up hold up... where did the new putter come from?
New putter? 🤔
Did you bring more than one putter?
Why mallet vs blade? (Spider?)
Maybe they water the greens more than the fairways to keep them alive.
Doesn't this course have placards showing the hole at the tee box? Most courses do that I play on and you can see the hazards get a rough idea of where they are.
Cant remember which video post this was, but you showed your forearms red marks welts. This might be tiny ants , the brown variety. This happened to me and they itch like crazy, for what it is worth. Not sure how to remedy :(
hello gen , what camera did you use here . hope to hear from you soon .. goodluck on your journey to lpga ❤️
Not the most exciting golf course in the world, but a very nice practice round.
What is your itinerary in the states for LPGA tournament?
Hey I noticed two putters. An odyssey and a spider.... experimenting?
Lot of courses have warnings about snakes. My home courses logo is a copperhead. Us hackers have to be careful in the hazards, most snakes run away when you shoo them but water moccasins are hell spawn that come at you when threatened.
Will you consider chipping with a PW or 9 iron when it's this windy?
When it’s windy side to side. Do you hit against the wind or just let it take the ball?
Did I see that right? You hit a 310 y drive on 16?
First!!!
Yo I live in Dallas we should play ha
You stated multiple times that a hole was not what you thought. Do you do any advance research of a course on Google Earth to see what is out there on the holes and to get specific yardages before you tee it up?
New putter?
How come it looks like you do the punch shot for every Iron shot?
Due to he wind?
Assume is not good, you have to know the course 100%. Unsure make you unsure.
You are hitting the ball 10-15 yards longer. Not just cause of the roll and Texas air...your swing speed has increased.
Who...can't get enuff those legs and great golf? Greens flat as a pancake.
Ni hen mei
