Jean Luc Ponty Live Old Grey Whistle Test 1975

Some time ago my DBforgoods channel was deleted for violating copyright. As most of the videos had no problems, I decided to repost some that I haven't seen around. Many of them were extracted from episodes of the Old Grey Whistle Test, posted by a You Tube channel that unfortunately no longer exists. My gratitude to the person who made these historical archives available.

Spectacular! Basically the band that recorded the “Aurora” album, save that Michael Wolff was replaced by Patrice Rushen. Thanks for sharing this.

Brilliant. Thank you so much. I seem to remember that shortly prior to this, Jean-Luc performed a live version of Is Once Enough? on the Old Grey Whistle Test with the orginal line-up of Patrice Rushen, Daryl Stuermer, Tom Fowler & Norman Fearrington. I have been searching for a copy of it everywhere as I consider that it features Daryl Stuermer's best ever guitar solo. Unfortunately, I have had no success. It may be that this performance was "wiped" by the BBC as they did with a number of great performances on OGWT in the early years. A long shot but do you happen to have a copy of the video that you could post?

You might be right but I recall JLP being on a program hosted by Melvyn Bragg and that performance was 'STUNNING' to point of disbelief.
