You can also say No to the Kill/Smash option and get a different ending.
Really enjoyed this playthrough and glad you stuck with it. The other 2 people I tried watching alongside this playthrough just kinda stopped playing as far as I can tell so I am happy someone I enjoy watching (and didn't spam fart and sex jokes constantly) actually finished it

Given that the crab speaks in two sounds, it's possible that it is speaking in Morse code, and the response it's looking for is deciphering it.
It does not sound like Morse code at all.
Sounds more like ASCII in binary.
0110 1000 'h'
0110 0101 'e'
0111 1001 'y'
Yep this is almost certainly that - 8 bits, 1st bit is zero which means latin letters or numbers, first nibble is 110 or 111 which means a small letter, then 4 random-looking bits of data.
So the message seems to be "hey" - whatever that means.
Morse code seems to have about the same number of dots and dashes with no clear pattern, and the spacing is varied 1 to 5 bits per letter (in latin), not eight.
For instance, same message would be: " .... . -.-- " in morse

Rhapsody's life may be too hectic for him to have time to make videos, but he's currently okay at least. He's still hearting comments on occasion.
For reference: I'm a new watcher, so I don't know much about him & the hectic job he works. I'm just making observations. Since I came here from wondering what happened, because I picked up some interest on his playthrough style. ^-^

It was a great series, Entertaining and enjoyable. I think this game would give any game completionist a run for their money.
This has been my favourite series on the channel so far, and the highlight of my day for the last 5ish weeks. Just an all around thoroughly enjoyable experience.

I think there's still a few things you could do, but of course it depends on whether you find them fun or not:
Defeat the remaining people you haven't defeated yet in Whatever. I think you missed some of the kings? maybe?
Fish around for both souls and letters, then you can also use the souls to buy the couple remaining cards in sale, or buy more letters from the fortune teller. You can farm all your missing words just from fish but I reckon it would probably wake a while. You could then think about the crypticisms while you fish.
Talk to the big crab who speaks.... some kind of code that is only comprised of two available symbols, snap and click. Wink wink.
For the crypticysms, I think the feline companions might be the rats, maybe you need to tell vitus about some rat? I'm thinking of a very specifink one that's particularly remarkable.
Just spitballing (haven't played the game or looked it up), but I wonder if the one about removing the rats tail is to say the word detail somewhere? And for the dog, could it be Synka's dog with the unleash skill?

I would love to see you solve the Crypticisms.
Would love to potentially see a "Postlude" where you attempt to solve the crypticisms, crab king (and maybe any other secrets).
In regards to the cryptmastisisms, the regal open fire was indicated by a carving, and I recall other carvings that you came across with seemingly no importance (I don't remember what they were of though). Maybe it's at those carvings that you give an answer

People have mentioned alternate endings depending on what you answer to the final question; I am surprised that 'give' wasn't an option as that's what Agda asked you to do and I'm very curious as to if that would have on of them.
First 38:34 Is this where that one cryptisim goes? This is where you choose between keyboard or controller. Could the reversed key be backspace? If you hit backspace on this screen does anything happen? Also could one first step away from a killer be: iller? Just spitballing.
That all makes sense, you're only a keystroke (one first step) away from deleting (killing) any character with the backspace key. I don't know about flying though.

I'd bet quite a bit that there's a secret third option for the resolution with Audo. What was it that the altar spirit was telling you to do when you met him?
My thought also. Altar just said - shatter the stone.
But the final answer is not yes-no buttons - it's a word you type in.
What word can it be that can give a better ending?

also, the reversed key, might be the back button on an xbox controller or the select button on the ps controller
It does not sound anything like morse code,
in fact it's ASCII binary for word "hey"
Although both endings are portrayed in a positive-ish light, I don't particularly like any of them.
But the final choice not just a Y/N but you need to type a word...

Kinda, the "no" maintains the status quo but the other two options (smash and kill) i felt like a order or obligation, so the "no" option gives you some sort of agency in the story
