Seriously though, the army presence and armed security guards remind me of Belfast in my youth. It's not nice but you sort of get used to it. Keep up the good work buddy, your videos are so entertaining and educational in equal measures. I love the idea that you got fed up with the cold and drove south to get some heat regardless of the fact that you had to cross borders and frontiers.

Hey Morts, glad to see this installment. It's really cool to see, on such a personal level, the daily life in these areas. Love the commentary and your honest reactions to things. One thing I can say about your way of car camping/living: your car is so uncluttered and clean it makes it nice to watch your vids. I watch other Van Lifers/car campers and everything is so cluttered it's almost like it's hard to breathe. You have such a clean way of doing this - thanks!

Hello. I've subscribed about 2 weeks ago. You came up in my suggested videos. Think it was the winter camping one. I've gone back and watched all of your vids, since the beginning of this trip. I find they are like a good book, can't put it down once you've started, I'm waiting for the next video as soon as I've watched the last one. I've done a trip similar to yours (but only went as far as Albania) but I had a small van. We crossed the border into montenegro into North Macedonia, they weren't friendly at all, stripped the van out, body search etc etc , I was there for about 4 hrs. Horrible Keep the vids coming mate 👍

What i like is Morts is travelling very simply and at very little cost. I've said to him before I see his travel style as a tent on wheels. When you consider hes not paying for hotel rooms, airfares, trains, buses, taxis etc and he's getting to experience cultures at street level.

Keep up your good work! It is easy to be an arm chair critic, handing out opinion after opinion. It is harder to actually doing what you do. Whether it is your current trip or I remember your trip around the UK delivering things people bought from you, it is a privilege to glimpse your life journey through these videos.
Some people can't see the bigger picture and understand you are doing things your own way, travelling light and under the radar. I've recently sold my campervan so now will just use my car for weekends away thanks to you and other car campers.

When i dated yrs ago i used stay out 10 days at a time dating comming home 4 days. Lived practicaly in a toyora yaris 1ltr lol. Loved it. Cheeper feul too than van. Easier park ups. I can only say that I put my eggs in cold water in the pot, slowly being them to a gentle boil, then cover and reduce heat to low. Wait five minutes and they’re perfect.
