Britain is a nation of dog lovers, but what happens when domestic bliss turns to chaos? Luckily, there's someone you can call. Master dog trainer, Graeme Hall is on a mission to restore harmony across the country. He has built his reputation on finding quick but long-lasting fixes to almost any unwanted dog behaviour, helping to train over 5000 canines (and 1 fox!) and their owners. His mantra is clear: "Any Dog, Any Age, Any Problem."
“it makes me feel sad and unwanted” 🥺 i feel so sorry for mike i can’t imagine coming back from the hospital after a stroke and your little buddy doesn’t even recognize you
Gosh, in reading the comments it appears that everyone here is an expert. Glad you have all the answers.
Most of these problems seem to be caused by lack of training and leadership by the owners.
you don't say
I think dogs have a better intuition than us, I think Teddy was trying to tell his dad not to do so much, he was frightened he might lose him completely!
Quite like you fella, God has chosen my dogs because I have never had a bad dog, I am 64 and have had dogs since I was 7. Sadly I lost my Brok in April 2023 and have Brad his non-Brother who is an Angel. Yes I feel Blessed, but also I think there are no bad dogs just bad owners!! 🐶🐶🙏🙏
Em ... if that screaming Frenchie is spoiling every outing with your mates or every car trip, why bring him??? It's not a social occasion for him... at ALL ... nor for your mates.
Be encouraged! Dogs are much harder to train than children 😊
Why are you allowing her to pet him when he is growling? That is the point of disallowing the behavior.
13:43 It's funny to us who have some experience but the owners don't even realize that they are reinforcing the bad behaviour by rewarding them with lots of pets and love.
Watching Ted He's actually scared of the walking stick and poor Mike's illness 💜🐕💜🙏💜
Id a dog wont accept someone you do. They do not consider you a leader. Im glad they got the help they needed
Why are all these owners so clueless? Training, correcting unwanted behavior, and actually being a leader goes a long way to having a dog you can live with and enjoy. No dog should ever be in charge!
@Acinny - that’s the reason for these shows; teaching people the skills they need to learn as the pet caregivers.
Popcorns owner needs to get the poor dog groomed
Looks dirty and matted.
Dog growls at the womans husband and she keeps petting it
🙄I get that the wife wants to comfort Ted, thinking he's upset - but from Ted's perspective? She's rewarding him, as if she's saying, "Thanks for saving me from this strange man who now lives with us."
In her mind she's trying to calm it down
People need to treat dogs like dogs not children! There’s no comparison
Actually they are quite similar, at least toddlers are and should learn boundaries and that tantrums don't work. If a small child was hitting her husband and throwing a tantrum over the sofa she would remove them immediately and make it clear that was unacceptable behaviour. She wouldn't be scared of them.
I think the owners want training not the dogs.
Awesome... straight to the point ✌️
They want to have children ? They are too soft to the frenchie Bruce hope they succeed with the upbringing of their children 😊
No será el bastón y la manera distinta de caminar lo que provoca esa reacción? . O sea miedo. Quizá nunca antes vio un bastón y los perros son muy sensibles a objetos nuevos.
Popcorn has territorial aggression for his person and hes been babied.
So far, all the episodes I've watched, there's nothing wrong with the dogs, it's either the handlers are too anxious or they talk way too much like the dogs can understand English. Firstly, the dogs should understand what 'No' or any other words they're using mean because that would be unfair to the dogs. It's sad that dogs are always the ones that pay the price for owners' ignorance.
I have an 11 yo Shitzu Maltese who just started doing this when I get up to go the bathroom in the morning. I have 3 dogs and they all sleep in large crates in my bedroom at night. Now he has started throwing a fit. Totally annoying why I am trying to go to the bathroom.
I thought maybe I could get some tips here. Nah. Durn.
@camartinwv at 11 yo, there may be a health cause. My 16yo doxy-mix has started taking himself to the bedroom, and barking insistently to get me to come to bed. If it’s close to bedtime, fine. But I’m not going to bed at 7:00 pm. He gets picked up & brought back into living room. His hearing & vision are mostly gone. I asked vet, in Kobe’s case he said may just be getting older, and doggy dementia could be setting in. Or his arthritis pain meds may also be making him want to sleep more.
Does your older dog need to go to the bathroom urgently?
Was that pub the Garden Gate. Any brummies out there ?
The little cairn senses the change, but the harsh reality is it is just a dog, and the poor guy has had enough shit to deal with. Get another dog, get rid of the old one.
dogs are amazing, people...hmmmmmmm
So the 'parents' had to set healthy boundaries and teach their 'child' the meaning of 'No!".
This is a DOG for God's sake.
Treat it like one! Treating a dog like a child actually harms a dog in it's animalistic nature and animalistic needs.
A dog doesn't need a human parent, it needs a pack leader that will show him confidence and provides a secure environment!
I don't know why they spoil this DOG so much! Don't pick it up. Don't cuddle when it's behaving badly.
Put those dogs into a crate in the trunk and no more other privileges at home, that'll put it in it's place.
Castration will help too.
Glad the little girl could keep her dog.
The elderly couple is doing okay,
but I think the dog's problem is both the aggression that should be addressed and some level of anxiety because it's old owner is moving oddly in the dog's eyes.
It seems to be insecure which leads to it's aggressive behavior.
I don't know why this trainer doesn't work with highly preferred, good smelling food to tame the animal in this relationship between owner and dog. Nose, ears, eyes...
Yes, addressing the bad behavior is right but building new confidence in the owners abilities to train the dog successfully all by himself is just as important!
Food can build a new foundation of friendship.
The man doesn't have to have immensely movement abilities to feed the dog and to praise it with treats as a reward from the sofa for retrieving a ball or doing "Sit"s, "Down"s, or "Turn around"s...
Every single episode i watch just makes me realise how stupid people are 😂
Those frenchies are not babies its soooo sad......treat them like babies they become babies ..she makes it worse by nurturing that behaviour with baby talk an daftness.......
They created poor Bruce behaviour.......just stop talking like a child at the poor animal....😖
I cannot watch anything where they call the humans Mummy and Daddy ... of a dog ... its just icky ... Yugh !
