- This is a musical video diary of our 3-generation 2-week self-drive loop-tour from Cape Town through the Winelands, the Central Karoo all the way East to Tsitsikamma / Storms River, back along the Garden Route and through the Klein Karoo back to Cape Town.

Beautiful video. FYI for future travelers. You never need to carry so much money, and never withdraw it at the airport or film it. Most places will accomodate all major credit cards. If you need to carry money, R1000.00 would suffice for travelling "Padkos" money.

A very nice video,I am planning a similar trip for 2022.But on a motorcycle, the plan is for the months April/May.
What temperatures do you have in that months,I mean inland in that area?

Those months are our autumn but South Africa does not get as cold as Europe during winter.
Language should also not be a problem for you as the two main languages in the Southern Cape are english and afrikaans. You should have no problem understanding afrikaans if you are Dutch
