The thing about the CB Winter Wonderland palette is those are all my favorite colors - blues, teals, lavenders, purples, etc.
I couldn't get mine to swatch decently but it does blend like a dream. I have been really enjoying it.
That’s why swatches are never a good determination of how well it’ll perform! I’ve had palettes that are absolutely amazing and so easy to work with but swatched horribly, then there’s some that swatched amazing but were horrible and PITA to work with! For me, swatches just show the colors and that’s it!
I love that the Revlon Colourstay makeup is on your best of this year. This has long been one of my favourites for my oily/combo skin, I live in the tropics and the humidity makes it difficult to find makeup that can stand up to my oily skin. I've tried high end, drugstore and the in between and always go back to this.
These " best of" are so entertaining to watch. I feel like when you mention a product that I also bought and love, I am responding to you through the TV like you were there !😂

The rare beauty powder highlighters weren’t really my thing, but their liquid highlighters are so beautiful and more natural looking. I even got two different shades for different looks and I love them!

Cosmic brushes/beauty and glamlite eyeshadow palettes are the best releases of the year for me without a doubt. Both brands made me excited about eyeshadow palettes again!
My favorite of this year is the multichromes from Glamshop that I bought. As an European it was the most affordable way to get some pretty multichromes in my collection without paying to much taxes. I love them!

The Cosmic Beauty palettes and Nyx Fat Oil were my favorites of 2023. I've gotten so many compliments when I'm wearing any of the Cosmic Beauty sister palettes. I swear they blend themselves. By far my favorite formula.

Those Iconic blushlighters are so underrated. I don't find the Rare highlighters to be stripey at all, since they have a very sheer base.

Angie, we seem to like a lot of the same color stories and fragrances, so I’m recommending Ormonde Jayne Woman (very grassy, yet dewy, slightly woodsy, and slightly spicy). It’s not cheap either, but I like it even better than the Basilico and Fellini! Also, one that grew on me and has been such a soft, dewy green with just a tiny bit of spice is Vert Sur Le Vert by Alkemia. And it’s pretty cheap at about 50 bucks for a bottle. Both have definite greenery vibes with no floral undertones. Alkemia’s is one of those nice perfumes that smells like nothing else but isn’t “weird”.
Oh, and it may be too minty at first but changes to a nice fresh green: Guerlain’s Aqua Allegoria Herba Fresca. Also not cheap, but I’m so glad I got it as a gift.
My personal “products of the year”: the Yucca palette; Glaze Clear Conditioning Gloss (for my hair); Hourglass Jellyfish palette; Lancome X Louvre palette; and lastly Glow Recipe’s Avocado Ceramide Recovery Serum (though I use most of their products constantly).
Favorites of the year: Ilia limitless lash mascara, ND Yucca, ABH Fall Romance, Merit lipsticks, Rare lip liners, & Lawless balm
Ugh the Yucca palette is my fave purchase of this year! I Need a Nude doesnt even come close 💚
