this is probably the best MU prelim competition show. wow the production value is on par with the actual live show
Who's back here to appreciate how perfect Thailand hosted the show after this year’s disaster preliminary? The stage here was big enough, the camera shots were perfect as well to show every aspects of the girls. Unlike this year’s disaster, the slippery stage even made more than 4 girls slipped at the exact same spot and interrupted some of the girls’ walk for cleaning it up. Don't even get me started on traditional costume rounds. A total disaster.

From prelim to crowing moment... Thailand still the best!
The Thai team has only 2 months to prepare for the MU. They don't have enough money. The government gave only a small amount and there was no profit, only a loss from MU. Just to promote tourism, without which the Thai team organization does not benefit. Remarkable for Thailand. I'm respect for Thai team that organized the MU event.

This 2018 edition has the best faces of all. If you pick randomly any candidate, she's still beautiful. 90% of these contestants have visual of the winner, the the diversity of them is amazing.

It is always a treat to see Natalie Glebova wherever she happens to show up. She is my favorite Miss Universe and I think it will be a very long time before we see a Miss Universe who will come close to that magnificent beauty. It's too bad that she did not pursue a career in the film industry because she would have been the closest thing that the world would have had to Elizabeth Taylor. For me Miss Universe means looking like Natalie Glebova and, so far, no Miss Universe has even come close (a far second would be Miss Universe 1976, Rina Messinger of Israel).

Fight me but MU 2018 is the best MU edition of all time. Everything was just so perfect. This I think is the best batch of candidates that a lot are deserving of the slots in semis or even the crown.
