Geez man, this dude is the real deal. His footwork is so nice, he looks like a young Joe Montana with a much bigger arm. This guy should be #1 overall without a doubt, and I bet he will be a winner in the pros. those hitch steps to climb the pocket and give his receiver time to clear are soo good. @@Lukeodom0415 You probably right Bryce had way lesser talent on the offensive this year but this boy is definitely the real deal too his ball placement and pocket awareness is next level but granted he had a hella core on offense

Most of this highlight reel was him hitting his first read, with a clean pocket. Yes, he was dropping dimes, but those are throws that he is supposed to make.
Can’t help but see Dak Prescott as his pro comparison, which is a complement. He has a team full of track stars but he’s dropping dimes. Main question will be what happens when you take his main read away and force him to progress. Higher ceiling than Bryce Young imo but Young is higher floor. Teams are likely to salivate more at potential so more likely he goes #1 overall to the Texans
I see a bit of Joe Burrow with his ball placement. I personally don't care who we get Young or Stroud, but we need a qb desperately. Cannot see Mills play another year again.
Not a single throw off schedule and 90% of these throws are to receivers who beat their man on a vertical/seam route with no safety help up top. Id be worried drafting him
Hard to know who the Texans will want more between him and Bryce Young. Stroud is so prototypical with his size, but I know Bryce is beyond exceptional. This will be an exciting draft class.
Lmao what? Those would be TDs in the NFL as well lol. It's not like hes underthrowing his WRs. He puts the ball where it needs to be for his WR and just out of reach of the DB. open your eyes a bit more
@@negativevibesquad271 the DBs in the NFL are faster and can get under the ball or in front of the ball quick. Regardless of how good his spot is. So him throwing into double/triple coverage at times is dangerous at that level. That’s what separates the NFL and college; the speed.

Don’t really see anything super impressive. Most of these throws here the WR has like 3-5 yards of separation and he’s throwing from one of the cleanest pockets I’ve seen from any QB in the nation. His mobility doesn’t seem to be anything special and he’s not really going through reads because the 1st guys is usually always open because he’s throwing to elite talent. I guess he throws a good fade ball but I don’t see a generational talent or next great QB
To some extent true, but watch guys like JT O'Sullivan's channel, they can lend more insight into the things that he does at a high leve. He makes some pretty special throws, but he's also been pretty bad against pressure, so the pass protection that you mentioned will be super important, much more with him than the other QBs this year. Personally, I think he has the best overall arm talent in the class (combining arm strength and accuracy, with the ability to change up releases). But he also lacks a lot athletically, especially when again, compared to his counterparts in this class. He's a stronger armed version of Tua, or Matt Ryan, IMO. Decent floor, but it will need to be an absolutely ideal situation for him to thrive. Ideally he goes to a team like Indi and or Washington via a trade, sits behind a bridge veteran for a while.
I dunno but either way I hope he does good in the NFL I'm a little scared though cause he looked completely different from this year to last year and not a good different
