In my opinion Tariq is easily one of the most underrated players in the league, everytime they talk about him on the broadcast they either talk about his 40 time or his height rather than his actual skill at CB.
Corners fall off more then anyone imo As a corner skill is measured by consistency and he only did it 1 year even tho I feel like he’ll excel tremendously

You know when the announcer says "oh boy, dont do it." When baker was throwing towards woolen. Tariq is a BAMF who has already earned a reputation in the league. Now QBs have to decide between throwing towards woolen or throwing towards Witherspoon. Im here for it, gonna he a dope season.

TW's a ball hawk; reminds me of Sherman except he's waaaaay faster LoL.
Sherman had Kam along with Thomas around the area which made his position a lil bit easier. Not knocking Sherman for the years he put in for us, but TW is way better holding that position down by far. Go Hawks!!!
Hell yeah, the brightest spot of 2022. I understand the DROY snub due to Sauce but this reel is proof positive that Tariq has a hall of fame ceiling. Here's to no sophomore slump.
I'm a Steelers fan and watching this video hypes me up. I absolutely love watching Sauce light it up, yes, but Tariq being a 5th round pick and already being an elite cornerback is just so awesome. Watch out for Julius Brents this draft who has an identical build to Tariq.

Tariq covers routes at a quarter of his full speed which is why, on plays like the one against the Lions or against the Chiefs, he is able to make up for lost ground so quickly and make the plays the QBs think he isn't going to.

During training camp and before week 1 Sherman went to their training facility and helped train up the young rookies. Sherm wanted Seattle to beat Wilson. Looks like Woolen took those lessons to heart

From the corner perspective sauce is what most teams would prefer thats why. Having a corner that gets a lot of picks is great to have but that's not what corners are really asked for. Picks are more of a safety stat. Sauce won because he kept playing some of the top receiver talent in the league (tyreek, jamarr, stefon,jjetas, dk) and gave up 1 td that's questionable if it should have been again him while holding all of them to some of their lowest yars totals of the year.
