- I visited Easter Road in Edinburgh to see what the matchday hospitality is like at Hibernian Football Club.
In this Scottish Premiership match Hibs played St Mirren.

Hibs! A club I just really like.
Brilliant name
Brilliant club anthem
The kit used to fascinate me; in the 80’s green was almost exclusively for keepers
On TV highlights in the 80’s the location looked amazing
Then of course you have sunshine on Leith
Sunshine on Leith, WOW.
Cup final rendition is the greatest anthem ever sung at a football match.
Much love and respect from Ireland ☘️💚☘️ and a Celtic fan.
Mon the Hibees
The name Hibernian...the Roman name for Ireland is Hibernia..and the club , founded by Irish immigrants adopted the name Hibernian, meaning Irishmen
Little Ireland,Hibernia ,The Irish landed hear because we had to at that time n place ⭐ We landed hear their and everywhere,America we landed there buy force of so called goodwill mmm,I wonder . Ireland a country of Irishmen.
There hospitality is laughable 😂 wee club mentality
Been a member for 20 years, love the club, great hospitality. I live a ten minute walk from the ground. Loving your vlogs, keep em coming 👍😁
My boyhood favourite Scottish football team (I'm a Villa fan). Managed to visit the stadium in the close season last year, whilst visiting friends in Fife. Went into the club shop, bought a T shirt, and was talking with the lad serving me, who offered to take me into the stadium. A brilliant gesture ......wonderful to see the ground at last. When I was a lad, they had a great side .....Pat Stanton, Blackley, Brownlie, Cropley (who became a Villa legend), Duncan, etc. A great history. Would love a hospitality day there !! Great video.
My second team from Ireland 🇮🇪
Great to here mate hibs fan born and bred ... villa is my English club got to visit your stadium when we played in Europe start season loved every minute fans were so welcoming 🙏
My first football match was at Easter Road in January when Hibs drew 2-2 with Dundee United it was just so amazing as league football are far and few for me in new Zealand.

I'm in New Zealand as well and would love to see Dundee United play someday (or my English team Crystal Palace - I saw them last year in Melbourne but someday I hope to see them play at home!)
@@kiwieagle23 I am Dundee U fan:
I was at that game it was intense
This is one of the best fan channels out there! Thanks.
"Sunshine on Leith" is one of the best footie anthems ever.
Great video as normal. Very interesting watching videos on Scottish football. Lovely to see bonnyrigg stay up as well
In Scotland, my favourite club is Dundee United. Because manger was Ivan Golac. He won cup defeating Rangers in final:)
Brilliant of Whisky Row to invite you along. Looked way more modern than I expected.
Absolutely fantastic my brother 💙👌🏻
Proper Football Club, The Hibees 👍🏻👍🏻
Quality content time after time..Respect from this old Essex boy..
Your making me homesick! Greetings from Melbourne 😊
I used to live in Melbourne myself and miss it a lot!! Thanks for watching!

@@FootyAdventures I’ve shared this on the Melbourne Hibs supporters page and they all want a halftime pie! 💚
You should look into the hospitality at Keith in the Highland League. Next season they are starting up a package that includes a distillery tour and whisky tasting 🥃 which I think is surely unique in the whole world of football. You’d have to ditch the car though lol
I helped out in the hospitality at Easter Road the day they were relegated in 1998. As a Spurs fan, keeping an eye on that score, it was hard to contain my emotions when Klinsmann scored 4 to keep us up, while all the players wives were distraught all around me.
Having sampled hospitality all over, I reckon Atletico Madrid wins it hands down. You have to try it.
The King of minor league football gets treated like royalty on Coronation day.
Well deserved Sam.
I was at a wedding in there last year have to say it was excellent, the food was fantastic
As a Celtic fan I love hibs it’s unfortunate that the rest of the league gets stranded by a gaping gap with financial circumstances compared to the old firm I wish there would be a wider range of challenge across the league
I went to a match at Easter Road when I used to live in Edinburgh (I was in the away end as a neutral at a match v Aberdeen). Didn't try any food, but it was overall a good experience and a good day out.
Finally a hibs win on the channel 👏
Hibs the best in Scotland
Fantastic I was there … Hibs never make it easy !!!
Good vid Sam! Looked a nice pint of Guinness.
Glad you got the Hibs monkey off your back (or is it the footy adventures monkey off Hibs' back?)
Having done the Pioneers lounge a couple times now I totally agree with your verdict on it. Great day out and even better if accompanied by a Hibs win.
Great Video...my son Gregor who looks after the players/staff/press was in it for a short time!
Glad you got to see Hibs win, I’d love to do them mainly cause of the video of them singing sunshine on leith after 2016 Scottish cup final. Football & whisky, what’s not to like?
Great hospitality
Great video! You got a typical Hibs experience - a game we should’ve been out of sight in but were left hanging on at the end 😂🇳🇬🥬
Happy Sunday Sam!
Wow. Nice hospitality
As a big supporter of The Lowland League (and thanks for that Sam), I had you down as nailed on for Brechin v Spartans in the Pyramid Play off on Saturday. You coming to one of the Albion Rovers games?
Aberdeen should have been the first team to play European football, as they were champions in 1954-55. They were invited, but couldn't play games midweek as floodlights had not yet been fitted at Pittodrie. Hibs were then invited, though they finished 5th, as they met the criteria decided, bizarrely, by the magazine L' Equipe. They had the best lights in Scotland at that time and it was the era of the 'Famous Five'.
Try Hearts hospitality in the Gorgie Suite. 3 course meal (food always excellent), open bar, pie and a pint at HT, an MC telling jokes and stories and interviewing players / guests, MOTM presentation and interview, raffles and auctions. Great day out.
great video
Welp in sam mate love to see it
When i first went to Hibs in the 1980s the toilet was a trough like in a cows field with a wall round it and no roof on the open terracing.
I have never bought food or drink at a football match. I am a finance directors nightmare. I no longer go to professional football, i dont like roofs, plastic seats, mobiles at games, high ticket prices, big brother is watching you experience.
As my dad used to say if the game was bad at Easter Road at least you could look at Arthurs Seat (you cant anymore due to the stands). One thing that never changes though..Hibs team still generally guff.
Hail Hail the Hibs are here! But not me anymore, not me anymore!
I still love Hibs, always will, but sadly for reasons above i dont go anymore, i prefer to watch non league football these days to get my 1980s experience lol. And i love watching your vids!
Mate, you sound proper mental
Great day Sam your local team Milton Keynes gotten relegated today 😊
Afc Wimbledon stadium tour and a Raynes park vale match next time you’re in London?
The celebration limbs from the home fans… unrivalled 😂😂😂
Still looking for that bit of metal from the floodlight 🔍🤷🏻♂️
If you want to see the history of the club try and get down to the hibs club
I love Easter Road. I’ve seen my team win there many times 🤭
Interesting point made during the video, hibs were first to have floodlights (they weren’t actually but let’s not let facts get in the way of a good story). So if they were first and as a result got invited into the European cup. What did the other teams who got invited do? And another fact check for you, Rangers and Aberdeen were both invited before hibs and refused. Possibly Hearts also but not 100% sure on that.
All that said, great video Sam. Next time, try the rat dropping pie they sell in the east stand - I bet they didn’t tell you about that, did they 😂
Aw, still hurting after the Derby defeat😢😢
I hope you tried the Tamdhu 18.
First team to have standing floodlights too… And first to wear the hoops, don’t let Celtic forget that…
Finally, Hibs win a game you've been at 😂
As a saint mirren fan I was annoyed with the score but hope it’s a good video as usalll
St Mirren is cool club, but yesterday lost from Hibernian-St.
However, you take money today:)

Saint Mirren could not get a win @ Easter Road yesterday thought they had a decent chance to do so.
Not a Saint Mirren fan though.
Growing up new a few
Saint Mirren fans had a pritty mixed group of friends growing up football wise.
Now a day's more of just a general fan of the game to be honest health issues catching up with me unfortunately.
@@alanfox691 I hope to you get money, my friend from Scotland:)
@@alanfox691 If not plays Ciuaba over 2,5 goals, for tonight, for drink:), you have Nottingham F-Southampton over 3,5 goals.
I helped build the new Hospitality suite. I love hibs 💚
I think of Hibs as a sleeping giant, the just seem to be in a very deep sleep, always punching well below their weight
No where near the size of Aberdeen & Hearts and no where near as successful as them either.

@@gerryhiggins8179 Aberdeen sell out every away game they attend, do hibs? The answer is no.
Was there a complimentary syringe/spoon and lighter too???
Of course, the best hospitality in Great Britain region must only be found in Scotland mainly and Hibernian is the answer for the "Best Hospitality In The World",good friend Sam!!!🏋️♂️
You should go to a Leith Athletic game ⬜️⬛️ 👍🏻
@Footy Adventures first of all: you HAVE TO COME TO THE IPL ( ISRAELI PREMIER LEAGUE ) beitar Jerusalem game, if you want to see one of the best fan bases in the world, and a FANTASTIC! ATMOSPHERE. if you have any plans to come to London between: 26.10 and 30.10, please, let me know. End the the genocide of the Palestinian people stop Zionism free Palestine 🇵🇸 long live Palestine 🇵🇸
Hibs first opponents in Europe are spelt 'Essen' not 'Esson'.
Noticed that too, embarrassing hope they change it pronto.
Was the Easter bunny found there
Just checked the prices and £225 is madness for all that.
Just booked my ticket for the game in a couple of weeks when the Huns are in town, buzzing!
Its all about the Rangers
@@ab4113 you got me, watching the Huns lose (and their ugly children cry) is more entertaining than just about anything else on planet earth 👍🏻😂
Congratulations on resorting to bigotry on Sam’s channel…..truly pathetic!!
Do they still have a rodent infestation at the Easter Road kitchens as they were prosecuted for a few year's ago? ;-)
Only when hearts are here
@@mrgu82 "At Hibs’ Easter Road stadium, mouse droppings were found in the west stand kitchen. The floors in another kitchen needed repair and food and ice were being stored uncovered in the bar areas, risking contamination by pests." - Daily Record
@@TheCryptonomatron "Dailly Record" hahahaha
His shouldn't have been in first European Cup..Aberdeen won the league, but it was invitation only...we might have won it(probably not), but Scottish football may well have been different now.ñ
Brown nosing it with the prawn sandwich brigade isn't what this used to be about. Get back in amongst the REAL supporters 👊
Video’s like this really show how dated Celtic Park really is. Hibs and Rangers both have far superior hospitality suites compared to Celtic. It’s not just the hospitality though, it’s the changing rooms as well! Celtic are a massive club in Europe yet you compare their changing rooms to the likes of Ajax, Feyenoord, Porto, Benfica, PAOK, Atlético, DARVEL and so many others. It just needs a massive upgrade!
I think there are a lot of Hibs fans who would have preferred to invest less in infrastructure and hospitality and more in buying players who can win league titles like Celtic have done!
Get a 'Padded Seat'?
You'll have to try Rangers hospitality again (if you have already). They just announced they're partnering with Gordon Ramsay to enhance their hospitality lounge/menu.
Is there anyway Scotland can have others teams to compete for the title and not just Celtic or rangers.
Hibs first Scottish team to play in European Cup despite finishing 5th in league behind champions Aberdeen! The fact that Hibs chairman Harry Swan was SFA president might have something to do with it?!!
Gordon Ramsey is doing the hospitality at Rangers next season 👍

Thanks mate! Yeah you still can't beat a pie & bovril but it was a good experience!
Real football fans don't give a shit about hospitality. But good for you
Hospitality at celtic? What's that, taking part in a baby sacrifice?
No a very funny clown are ye ?

Nah, we’re happy with our name, thanks
WHAT?? the best hospitality in the world!!?? Pure clickbait. Try Aston Villa, Tottenham. Villa won an award
Pity the team are an utter shambles 😂😂
The blokes at the start can't even state straight away why they like about supporting their own club. LOLLLLL. We know its painful, it's OK 😆😆
I heard you struggled to find a spoon there that wasn’t burnt 🥄💉🔥
