I would love to go to the Michigan vs Texas game in Ann Arbor. Seriously thinking about it.
Welcome home. I am a bit intrigued by Fan Dual setting OU at 7.5 and Tam at 8.5, both are questionable for different reasons. Howver many pundits are picking Texas at 11-1 and the 1 loss is Tam? I got Texas at 11-1 too as an over of how Fan Dual picks us at 10.5. OU I think will struggle as will Tam. 7.5 for both seems real. So under on Tam and a push on OU. I think our D line will do just fine platooning and covering. True we lost 2 all americans but our guys will do just fine. Pass rush will be much improved and a difference maker.
Colorado Springs > Denver
Interesting that five SEC teams on the Texas schedule are at 6.5 or worse win totals which is tied or surpassed by Colorado St. 6.5 and UTSA at 8.5. Only two games against teams at 9.5 wins in Michigan and Georgia are also interesting. I expect Texas to blowout at least six teams on their schedule with 50-10 types of blowouts. If the Texas offense under Sark has fixed their red zone scoring with many more TDs and can run the ball well with their experienced huge o-line consistently then Texas should be undefeated with open WRs running for TDs and Ewers in position to win the Heisman. The speed, experience, talent, and hunger could make the Texas offense as one of the best this season in scoring with potential to break school record for points and TDs. The defense could also be elite with the talent and experience to play fast and aggressive. I feel great about this season and hopefully they live up to their potential and avoid injuries to bring back another championship. Hook’em Horns!!
I think Florida beats aTm week-3 in Gainesville.
aTm interior DL is grossly being oversold even by Ian. I think they can get after the QB but their rush Edges are more the old school power rush ends and not speed rushers. I just don’t see the interior DL being good enough to stop the run and I’m not as high on their LB room. York plays hard but he’s still 5’10” and really small.
And then they are really suspect at DB.
How will aTm score this year with a mediocre OL and no real elite playmakers at WR. RB room is solid but do they have the OL to get good use from them??
On the ND-aTm game, I don’t think Ian has researched ND’s defense yet as they will be a top-10 defense likely in CFB. Worse for aTm is the aTm weaknesses (OL) are matched up against the ND strengths which will be their front-7.
This is going to be a fun year! 😁👍
