I grew up in 90's and thought singers of that time were great till i heard all of Kishore Da's songs. Since then, I am a bhakt of Kishore Da. You know many people, before and after Kishore Kumar, could sing technically correct as singers, but where will you get that golden energetic and fulsome voice, energy and perfect emotion for a song? Can you imagine any singer singing even close to what he sang in countless number of songs Pal Pal dil ke paas, Dilbar Mere, Ye jeevan hai, Aane wala pal, Manzile Apni jagah hain, Log kehte hai main sharabi hoon, Jeevan ke din, Zindagi aa raha hoon main, zindagi ki yehi reet hai and thousands of others. In most of the singing reality shows people sing old and new songs but very few dare to sing Kishore Da's songs for the fear of falling flat! He is an immortal and eternal person for me and will always remain that way.

Everyone has a sad story. I have one too. I was probably 8 years old when this movie Mr. India was launched. We were all very excited. I had a beautiful cat named Tom. Tom was my best buddy, we used to eat, sleep, sit together and do all games together. After a while Tom got lung Cancer, diabetes and died of a horrible accident with a dog. This song reminds me of Tom. I hope you rest in peace whereever you are.

Underwent an eye surgery 4 months ago and I have still not healed. I still have 2-3 months to heal. After the surgery my eye worsened and still no improvement. And this has pushed me into terrible depression and anxiety and end up crying. And this song was sent by mom to me a few hrs ago. Sometimes i feel like quitting from life but whenever I'll feel like that ill come back and listen to this song. Just pray for me guys :)
