Coyotes like foxes are easily bullied by humans due to their small size, but they are cute beautiful animals deserving of respect. Like with all wild animals KEEP YOUR DISTANCE

@@patmcbride9853 At least they’re not tigers, or Komodo dragons, or polar bears. Then they would attack not only small children but big adults as well. It’s nature. Respect nature.

I believe they were here first we have invaded the space for Coyotes to live so either we all get along or humans have to leave

They adapted to the inner city of Detroit, so that isn't always true...

That is very stupid, let me tell you why you are dumb and wrong. Coyotes used to be wolves and bears slaves and punks. They took the scraps and prayed to God for its mercy. Kind of like you do for your wife's approval to go out with your friends once every few months(sissy.) Humans eradicated wolves, allowing coyotes to take over and populate every city in America. Humans are the only reason coyotes are thriving.

The entitled "I don't need to follow the law, My dog doesn't need a leash" SF citizens have made this worse. Every time I go to Corona heights dog area people let their dogs off in the leash area with signs everywhere stating keep dogs on. When I point out the off leash area they bulk at me (entitled). I've seen many Coyotes in the park and area.

how has an off leash dog attracted more coyotes? i am assuming that is what you meant with "made this worse" or you just needed to rant your dislike for dogs.

i need more info about the girl bitten by the coyote in GGP. was the mom on her phone and not realizing girl was following a coyote pup to very near pen type of thing, because a healthy animal would be too shy to just come near humans and bite.

When you walk dogs off leash you are offering food to the coyotes. Don’t act all shocked when these creatures take your offer. It’s actually illegal to feed coyotes. Why has the news media neglected to mention the owners illegal act of off leash dog walking? STOP OFFERING YOUR OFF LEASH DOGS AS FOOD TO COYOTES.
