Congrats on getting one. Got my heart set on getting one for Christmas but, in a way it’s wishful thinking, sorta. I do have a generous family to hook me up with cool things for Christmas, but I’m betting for me it won’t be until next Christmas for me to get the 5. Have a great time, man. Update from my previous message a couple of weeks ago - didn’t get a PS5 (not even digital one), but maybe this year sometime or if prices decide to go down at all then maybe at that time. 🤷♂️ I did however get a cool game for PS4 even though I may have to start over again for the third time - the game Nioh. I think I’m playing it wrong somehow.

It was smart of them to add that Astro game to the ps5 because since this console has all these next-gen abilities they needed a way to showcase it to players.

This video brings back memories when I unboxed my ps5, I am a digital edition ps5 owner and for anyone who wants to get the digital edition you will definitely not regret it.
Do you not feel restricted to only digital games though? I considered it but ended up going with the standard console in case I want to get disc games too

"You don't even need to use the stand if you don't want." You're actually supposed to. Yeah, it's flat on the bottom so it'll stay up without it, but you're supposed to use the stand. I wouldn't recommend not using it.

There are a couple small vents on the bottom too, so it's a good idea to use the stand for proper ventilation

@@stxreight I’m pretty sure you can buy cheap ones online. My real question is, how did you break it? If you broke the the holders connected to the side, you will still be able to stand it upright.

Dualsense controller is absolutely magical to use. I just wish the battery had more longevity.
The disc version and digital one both use the same amount of storage for games, the disc is just required to be inserted because it contains a key that is needed to verify and run the game on your system. Its a way to prevent people from buying one game and simultaneously playing it across different systems
