Wow, it feels so nice to have this video done. I've been working on it for awhile now, but I'm glad to have it up and completed! Once I heard this song, I knew I had to make a sort of family Winchester video. So as you can as see, this video mainly focuses on how Sam and Dean learnt from their father and kept moving forward after his death. In the end, John's proud of everything that they've accomplished because they're his sons and his family.
Anyways, hope you guys enjoy! Hopefully more SPN vids on the way! :)

That gave me the shivers. And thanks for the sympathetic portrayal of John - he's been much maligned over the years, and I think people have forgotten he never wanted that life, either for himself or for his boys.
This song matches the Winchesters perfectly and you about summed up Supernatural the best anyone can. This is gorgeous, with the scene choices and coloring and I can't get over how accurate these lyrics are for this show. Your editing is amazing. I've watched this more times than I can count. Such a beautiful video.
I remember watching this and deciding to start the show so many years ago. Now I'm back because the show is over and it's still my favorite SPN video, I just love it so much.

I have a lot of problems with John Winchester, but Dean and Sam loved him dearly and I sort of forgot about the bond he created between them by having Dean always look out for Sam, until I watched this. And then the parts with Bobby. God. Crying. This was beautiful.
Heather. Heather sweetheart this is beyond amazing. I'm crying actual tears because of the perfection. Damn this hit right in my weak spot. I haven't had feelings like this in a long time. Spn-feels. And god it's like an addict tasting the drug again. Your whole world just disappears and it's just that pleasure and relief to get that familiar feeling (even if it would hurt you) and you feel safe and at home some strange how but also a discomforting feeling because you know that you're not gonna be able to keep it forever. It will fade again. And you'll just have to seek that feeling (more or less desperately) again elsewhere. And it gets harder and harder to find that feeling. Thank you for making me remember and re-live my favorite show ever. That is just so precious. I can't tell you how amazing I think it is that you've started to vid supernatural "for real". And I can't get over the quality of your clips and voiceovers!!! And your storytelling! Just the wholeness of it all. And the early seasons omggg
Oh my, this is such an absolute remarkable comment, wow! Thank you SO very much! This show is just too powerful, I can't count how many times I've watched it now (to be exact, probably 50918347 times LOL).... The early seasons will always be my favorite, no doubt. Just watching what the Winchesters go through is an absolute heartbreaking journey and you feel like you're part of the entire trip while watching the show. The only thing I regret is not getting into SPN sooner. I've always known about the show (watched a few episodes way back in 2008-2010) but I actually never fully watched the show until about a year ago. I wish I was there from the very beginning to experience it every single week. But right now, I'm just glad that I am now! SPN has quickly became one of my favorite shows just because of the acting, writing, storytelling, etc. SO VERY GOOD.
Thank you. John loved them,he put war in them, & that sucks. But he made sure they would survive. & they had Bobby. John wasn't a good dad, but he made sure they had people that could be what he couldn't allow himself to be. & that's just as important....
I just love it all and this is by far the best Supernatural video I've seen. It perfectly summarizes the show and it really focuses on what the show is REALLY about: Two brothers, going through hell and worse all the while leaning on what their father taught them. I just can't talk about this video anymore because there's so many things I want to say but I can't put into words. It's just beautiful and so wonderfully edited. *watches it again and cries*

I just finished watching seasons 1-9 on Netflix and am in love with the series. I hated it when Bobby died :( I must say, Cas is my favorite secondary character, I love him

Ok, this video just proves that Sam and Dean both need hugs; not in a sexual or even romantic way ... just ... to show that it's all going to be ok in the end and that someone cares about them enough to just be available to listen if they need it (yes I realize that they are fictional but still ... lol). This is a great video and nearly made me cry (which I almost never do by the way). Kudos on the song choice and the editing style, it all came together spectacularly!

OMG I am not OK after watching this. I have never really cried for videos just like one small tear a fee times. This video made me so emotional I almost felt like sobbing(ALMOST). I hardly cry for anything but this was just so beautiful.Such a masterpiece and one of a kind. I am just so awestruck I still can't believe that there's a vidder out there that could make a video that made me actually cry.

I'm in awe. Thank you for this. This is the kind of video that keeps a fandom alive. I feel like Supernatural should credit you (and the other remarkable vidders our fandom is blessed with) for making us love the series even more, and for giving us a greater understanding of everything; from these characters and their relationships, to the impact those relationships have and their entire lives as a whole.
I had to take a minute and brace myself for this because I knew it would be beautiful and it totally and completely is. An absolute masterpiece. One of the best SPN vids I've ever seen, though I missed Cas a little ;) I despise the way John is presented in the later seasons of the show because I really do believe he was a good father who did his best. It breaks my heart that they put him down to make Bobby look better but this did a lot to fix it. Well done. I really hope JDM returns to the show one day.
