Dad, it's been exactly a year since I lost you. I have not forgotten you, your memorial run had just as many loved ones come to your side. Will not forget you. Thank you for uploading this video, it was hard to take in how many people were there on account of the grief, looking back - there was so many people there to give him his last ride. P.S. Jack Maitland - learn some respect as what you said gravely offended me.
They are his brothers, and they sure did do him proud. They were there for him in every way, all the way, to the very end. He loves them, and they love him. Thank you all again. Miss you Del, lil sis Tee xx
I played Football with Big Del for many years. We butted heads on the practice field many times but alwys parted with a smile. I heard a while back that he had passed on....only just found this footage. I never realised he was a biker in all those years...Rest in peace big fella..Olympian forever!! TG
We tried getting in touch with as many of his old friends as possible, but given there were so many it was hard - if you private message me your email address i can let you know when his yearly memorial will take place you are welcome to spread the word between old players he knew. -Brad
What was shown here, was amazing but there were many more bikes there and there must have been at least 40 cars poss. even 50. The church was full and and the service a true reflection of the feelings everyone had for Del. I knew Del as a soldier a friend and man with real standards. He never pushed his weight around but would push you to get that little more that would make you a better person. If there is a heaven he is there RIP Del. an old 4 coy private.
What a fantastic Tribute to our brother Rifleman, im so sorry we where given the wrong info or we would have mached him out, RIP Fitz a true legend of the Royal Green Jacket !!!!!!
His Royal Green Jacket friends were given the wrong funearl date for Fitz. It's very unfortunate because many were going to attend. He was a very popular and loved member of our Regiment.
Bradley I have posted a picture of your father in the 10 Para page. It was the day of the colours parade in the Dukes Chelsea. If you are unable to access it when I return to the uk I will find it and get a copy to you. i promised it to you mother and I would very much like to keep that promise.
I have private messaged you my email address, I rarely come on youtube anymore that's why it's taken so long for me to reply, look forward to hearing from you soon.
Cool, saw my KTM Super Moto, my Street Bob AND my RAnge Rover in one video (well, not mine but like mine if you know what I mean)...just need a CB750 for the full house!
