bottom piston of auto elevator bug (for bedrock users): a path of redstone must come off the glass block to the opposite side of comparators. The redstone goes two blocks out, hooks a left, and then connects to a repeater going into the bottom piston. This repeater must be set to a two tick delay to ensure the bottom piston rises.

All three are super useful, but the barrel one was just so rad. You really cant tell there's something. Unless players use something like spectator mode to look through the walls/ground, it's super cool

You can easily make on off portal with two dispensers, two buttons, a water bucket and a flint and steel.

its a nice portal and all but what about linked portals? will it link up to the same one in the nether again or just generate a random one each time again?
and it would be nice if you could explain the reasons for every object (in redstone constructions) more. i would like to understand the system behind it more.
It will use the same portal on the other side unless you break the nether side portal blocks. Eyecraftmc did a video explaining how it works: czcams.com/video/K94789i0zRk/video.html. I believe that Pixelriffs also explained it in his Survival Guide series.

There’s a little problem for those on Bedrock
For those on Bedrock the button will still go through the obsidian, but it doesn’t get to the torch or comparator.
I’m a bedrock player and this is a problem for me and others.

Im on Minecraft Education Edition and Im having a problem that at the elevator. When i try to place the kelp on the magma block, it won’t work. So i just have an elevator that never loses water when i go away from the pressure plate
It should be on soul sand right? Not magma block

I can't tell if its me or the fact that this is on pc or all of the above but i can never get any of these redstone machines to work. For the first one I tried to do it. I struggled a little, but i managed to do most of it. The only thing that didn't work is the water in the dispenser. Every time it went on it just kept the water there. I need to find a mechanism that retracts the piston back to pull the water out
