I bought the 2nd Red Z06 that you showed in the video, the one with the chrome wheels. I know you don't like chrome wheels, but I don't care. I know that you said that you don't like automatics, again, I don't care. As a toy that will be driven only a few thousand miles a year, once your in it, with the top down, and the 650hp under the hood, all that nonsense is just that. It's a Corvette, no matter what options someone likes.
Would love for you to do a C7 review on the wheel issue with Rob. Not sure if you or Rob would be willing but perhaps he has some important input to share.
C7 M7 Z06-most fun you can have with your clothes on (after a little getting used to it, you CAN use the power in any gear, rolling into the throttle quickly, as you monitor traction with the seat of your pants); incredibly taut, solid feel to the chassis, producing test results of 1.16-1.19g’s on the 300’ skid pad, compared to 1.03g’s for the C8, per the recent test in this month’s Road & Track, and shorter breaking distances to boot! Plus some Nurburgring bragging rights for the C7 Z06: 7.13 for the Z vs 7.29 for the C8. No offense, Mike, and I’m glad you love your car, but current financial trends aside, there’s no way I’d trade it for a C8.

@@BrinkofSpeed ONE out of how many ? In my opinion, the only way to go when buying a used corvette (especially a convertible) is a MANUAL ! Otherwise I’d buy the best...a C8 !!
Great presentation. I've had all the Vettes made, up to and including the C6. I'm only six feet tall but have back problem which requires reclining my seat back 2 clicks. My C6 was heaven. When I tried driving the then new C7, if I reclined the seat a little and put it back as far as it would go I still didn't fit. I heard stories about athletes buying C7's and when they went to take delivery they didn't fit the car. My question is for the C8 driver room. I saw a guy here on CZcams doing a review of the C8 who claimed he was six feet five inches tall and he looked very comfy in the car. Does that sound possible? If so I'll drive the 600 miles over to Dallas buy a C8. Can anyone out there lean the seatback two clicks (15 degrees), move it rearward all the way and sit in that thing if you are say six feet three inches tall? Does GM plan to sell the C8 to those tall owners of German cars?
Expensive car = expensive insurance + expensive tax + expensive maintenance + costly sales comission to the 10th power - depreciation. No doubt about it!!!
Let me tell you what you need to know before buying one of these C7s. I was quoted by GEICO today for a 2019 GS, 2LT beautiful low mileage Corvette. With $1,000. Deductible my premium due would be $1556.80 per year. I am 59 with an outstanding driving history. No wrecks, no claims, no tickets. I did not call the county to get their annual tax fee but I know it is not going to be cheap either. I love Corvettes but I love my money more. My 2012 Grand Sport, LS3, 2LT is only $312.00 every six months and property tax was $189.00. These exorbitant fees not even including expensive maintenance fees was more than enough to convince me to say "Thank you but No Thanks". Also, gasoline prices have increased .50 per gallon since Biden took office and Democrats control congress. Bottom line. Due your due diligence (research) on the cost these beautiful cars will cost. I've been a proud Corvette owner since 1987 but there is no way in hell I'm going to throw my money away to the sales company, banks, insurance companies and specialized Corvette mechanics who work for $189.00 per hour not factoring in the over priced parts... Look and walk away!!!
ALL of Corvette World's pricing is XX,995. So if the price reads, $74,995, why not just say $75,000 in your videos. Every time you speak the prices, you read out the XX,995, and it's quite annoying, honestly.
Yea, I happen to disagree, I don’t like black wheels, and silver one even less. That’s why they make different ones. I have chrome wheels for our Torch red C8 that is in transit now.

2021's are soon to be here.Why buy a 4 year old model when you can buy a C8 1lt for the same price.
