You told the story of that sled better than I could! the riveted side panel seams on the rear were done to narrow the panels so it was easier to move your knees around the panels. lots of "easter eggs" on those mods back then. Fun seeing those sleds again.

She’s a little rough at the moment but we’ll get it back to how it should be this off season. The “Easter egg” part is half the fun for me, so many questions lol. Just to have a sled that is so close to yours your final year racing is priceless to me. I’ll be keeping this thing in the collection for good. Got a set of Fox front shocks coming for it like you guys used to run and I would love to twin pipe it again but we’ll see. MN DNR won’t like it; I would love it though so it goes both ways hahah. Those taller custom spindles you raced with, what was the reason for those as opposed to the stock spindles? That’s one thing I forgot to ask about. I just picked up a 2005 TRX450R quad, excited to get some riding in on it this year!
Thanks! Yeah, I’ll miss that thing too but the LaVallee sled is just too good and I wanted to free up some funds for spring/summer stuff on the channel. Just made the most sense! Heck yeah, I know about those quads. Those are solid. I have a cr125 being rebuilt right now by a friend so hoping to have that all set by the spring! I have my eye out for a couple other projects too and also plan on doing some stuff to the iqr so we’ll see what happens! Thanks again for tuning in!!

Definitely a legend! Got myself a keeper sled. Looking forward to digging into it a bit in the offseason and bringing it back to full potential. Yep, new video will be out next week. Should be a little group ride showing the snow conditions and possibly introducing another person to the vids. Time will tell! Enjoy Mexico!
It really did. Rained almost the entire day here. Knocked down the snow pretty heavily and what’s left is pretty beat. We are still going to try to get another good ride in this weekend though so we’ll see how it all actually is out there. We’re down to dirt on some of the steeper ditch slopes. Maybe we will still get another storm 🤞 thanks for tuning into the vid!! Hopefully still more snowmobiling to come!!

Thank you; owning the 600 certainly is a better story all around. As tough as it was to sell the 440, being able to look over at the LaVallee sled made it easier lol; Rare piece of snocross history. The 440 is just a limited numbers sled in the long run but 1 of 1500 isn’t nearly as rare as 1 or 6. And then to have the info all confirmed by Levi, awesome story. The 440 was a great sled, don’t get me wrong, just not as collectible/valuable/rare as the LaVallee IQR. Thanks for tuning into the vids!!
