  • Rare tape from The Wailers, doing a rendition of ‘Sitting In The Park’. This is a studio rehersal from 10th April 1987. This is Carlton Barrett’s last rehersal. He would also go on to play one final show with the band at The Reseda Country Club, CA. He was murdered seven days after this was recorded.
Carlton Barrett is widely known as the originator of the One-drop rhythm and is the best drummer to come out of the Caribbean. Alongside the I-threes, The Wailers were the rhythm force that propelled Bob Marley into battle.
    This lineup includes:
    Aston ‘FamilyMan’ Barrett - Bass
    Carlton Barrett - Drums
Earl Wya Lindo - Keyboard & Organ
    Junior Marvin - Lead Guitar
    Al Anderson - Lead Guitar
    Alvin ‘Seeco’ Patterson - Percussion
Owen ‘Dreadie’ Reid - Rhythm Guitar
