***** Even earlier than them, Gloria Jones 1964 was the first recording. I guess made famous in the 80's by Softcell but it has been covered 5000 times since 64
oops my bad, , didn't see what the song was lol Tainted love was another cover he did, I should have read it, my bad lol I just commented because it got highlighted in my own comments
Okay, so the following thoughts ran through my mind the entire time: 1. He's hot, as always 2. Damn, his voice is deep! 3. Yay, there's Tim! But the most important of all, 4: I couldn't stop thinking about the Letterman interviews with Manson from the 90's when he was made fun of all the time, and now he's a huge damn star :D
I was in the audience for this show. Some of the older folks in the audience walked out of there stunned, jaws dropped in silence. I have to admit it was pretty wild (and very loud). The sound was very loud and very clear. It made me wonder at the time if they were really playing or if the music was recorded. You can't really tell from this video either.
Who doesn't miss the Spooky Kids. 1. Marilyn Manson 2. Daisy Berkowitz 3. Madonna Wayne Gacy (pogo) 4. Gidget Gein 5. Sara Lee Lucas. Then Gidget gets replaced by Twiggy Ramirez & Sara gets replaced by Ginger Fish. Marilyn would've ended up ALOT differently if Gidget & Sara never left.
@Murder Museum Not sure of the entire line up, but my friend Mark Chausee is playing guitar. He also payed in Rob Halford's band Fight and has played with Danzig and a few great local bands from Minnesota 'Coupe De Grace and World of hurt.
I love all Manson's covers, he completely makes them his own instead of just copying the song. Makes it more interesting. "Tainted Love" was his best cover in my opinion. Although he has quite a few good ones. "Sweet Dreams" was great too.
I don't watch Marilyn Manson videos. But I have seen clips over the years. I didn't know john 5 had long hair like that I'm so use to seeing him with short hair.
MM lookz good in anything he touches, love him and hiz great mind..he made an Icon out himself and he reapz hiz reward 4 hard work done, cheerz 2 all who seez whatz really going on. amen
Lest We Forget: The Best Of is from 2004? Damn I was 11 when I bought this album and at that time I already was in possession of a The Golden Age of Grotesque copy. Guess what I am still listening 9 years later!?
Wow, Marylin Manson al David Letterman Show... non l'avrei mai immaginato, dato che tutte le volte che ho visto David Letterman introduceva cantanti e gruppi di stampo totalmente diverso...
A great cover, usually I hate covers but he does this one very well.
"Great cover", hahahhahahhahah, useless bitch hahahaha

Mmm yes, love me some Tim....
I also thought “oh those damn thighs! “
I thought he was bit of freak before I seen his interviews. He has a very soothing voice and very smart.
@@alinecalves Yes! More men should wear skirts like that! Soo hot!
KreeZafi the last rock star, one of the greatest voices of my generation, maybe the last great voice of any generation...
I love Marilyn's eyelashes in this.
His voice here is exquisite!
Imagine the keyboard went flying off the chains 😂
LMAO
It did , at the Comet Awards performance it hits a camera and fcuks up the image, its here on youtube look for it.
That body he had then though, his facial bone structure, the moves he would do with those long legs...damn gorgeous man🔥
say whatever you like about this guy's music, but sooner or later you have to admit that this person is one of a kind . ..
He covered this with love. As in he really loves this song. It was personal to him 😉That’s awesome.

Nuff said. The most talented artist ever.
Never heard of Elvis, Michael Jackson, or even Johnathan Davis?
Great karaoke performance!
My friend Mark on guitar. He also played in Rob Halford's band Fight.
Awesome- I'm an "old rock" kinda gal but I LOVE his style!!
I wish I was there so I could give Marilyn a great big hug!
This performance is magical and has life in it
PERSONAL JESUS ROCKS FOR SURE .... REAL TRACK
Best keyboard stand ever 0:24
Before that he had the keyboard on a spring in 2000
Pogo used the spring stand during the 2003 tour, too. I believe he previously used the chains during one of the '98/'99 tours, too.
Amazing !!
Always LOVED this Depeche Mode song…..however hearing Marilyn sing it gave me a whole different perspective on the song. Love this!
Oh my God... He still sings it pretty good...
Saw MM in Hollywood fl a few years back and they were really good 👍
I miss this Manson line up.

Manson is & always will be #1. He's gonna be putting out music WAY into his 70's.
I love marlyn manson
For me he's an extension of all the best David Bowie and Peter Murphy 70s and 80s stuff. And he's in fact more colorful than both of them.
the keyboard on the swing is awesome
Beautiful 😍😍😍😍😍😍😻😻😻😻😻😻
Always loved his visuals!
thank god he has talent because this man deserves to be famous!
I love all Manson's covers, he completely makes them his own instead of just copying the song. Makes it more interesting. "Tainted Love" was his best cover in my opinion. Although he has quite a few good ones. "Sweet Dreams" was great too.
