From the pleasing people and burying your own feelings to addressing problems head on when you feel away instead of letting it settle and stir in you! I love Alicia!!!!! Been a fan since the 6th grade!! She’s such a talent! Such a light. So New York! A household name for sure!!!! Yet so relatable in real life! A lot of celebrities are the complete opposite of that. I also love the bond she’s always had with her mom. It’s really beautiful.
I always make sure I watch IRL, it makes you think. Also, it reminds us that "celebrities" are human and they're just regular people trying to figure out life;and they go through things too. I'm a big Alicia Keys fan. I definitely had Diary album. I bought her book, she wrote way back when. I bought it as a Christmas present to my sister. Anyway, she's a good singer but also she's a good speaker. I'm listening to this interview and Alicia never misses a beat. She is such a good communicator. Such a good speaker. She is razor sharp. She doesn't ever stumble on words. It's like she always has an answer. She knows who she is through and through. And she has tack. She knows how she wants to express herself. And she has it down. She has it down. It's funny, you would think that all singers, songwriters, rappers and etc would be great speakers. But it's not true. Even if you look at the interviews that Angie Martinez has done on this show. Some of the most talented artists get tongue tied and have go into the "ums" and "what's the word" and etc. I think it's more about confidence and knowing exactly who you are. Alicia Keys autheniticy shines very bright in this interview. Her personality and wit is amazing. Her interviews just makes me like her more. The Drink Champs interview was a good one too.
