Tiffany here’s a tip for your mom. I used to have to travel a lot with my job. I would see something I loved and I would buy it and either have the store mail it to me or if they wouldn’t I would go to the Post office and mail to myself. When I would get home from my trip and have packages I had forgotten what I had even bought but it was fun.
I've done that on trips back East. Works out great! Usually UPS Store also sometimes FedEx. So fun to receive your treasures when you come home again! I've even shipped my clothing back to make room in my luggage for treasures!

Hi Tiffany! It was myself and my mom who went into August and March and mentioned you and your channel. You are so right, it is such a beautiful shop. We loved it. We were going to go back in to purchase something after a late lunch but we wanted to get to The Garden Barn which we also saw on your channel. Due to traffic we had only 15 mins there before they closed but managed to snag a couple of perennials.
On our next shopping trip we're going to head to Scranton's which I might have been to several years ago when my mom and I went to Woodstock.
I live in Middlebury, CT and am an antique lover. There are some cute antique and gift shops in my area too. If you ever plan on driving through Fairfield and New Haven counties I can recommend some of the shops and restaurants to you. Thank you for such a great channel!

Love the old metal box with the old leather belt for a handle. I showed my husband and I want a few for outside and inside... he is going to be busy attaching old belts to things, LOL!!!! Goodwill here I come!!!!!

the metal piece that you said might be for cooking something on a ire is actually multi use. My mother had one. You can use it for a pot strainer. We also used to grate cheese on it.

I am going to start decorating for fall because I too work in education and I like to have it almost done when I go back to work. I have a lot and it does take me sometime. I love all your wonderful finds. Great addition to your decor.
The metal colander would be pretty for Christmas too. You could put ornaments and a battery operated light string and the light would shine through the holes.
Love that galvanized bucket you got that would look beautiful with fall floral arrangement!! Love the pickling crock I had tons of them years ago and got rid of them like an idiot. Yes I would love a video on styling antiques especially when I can go to the same shops you go too.. I do fall decor September 1st it’s my favorite season and I love the look of it..

Your smaller galvanized "sifter" is a shredder/grater to make potato latkes. Vermont Country Store catalogue used to have them, but I don't think Acme makes them any more. Target online has something similar. I've never made latkes, but I use it for boiled eggs. I just gently mash the peeled, boiled eggs through the mesh and it makes perfectly uniform pieces of egg for egg salad, potatoes salad, etc.

Yes, definitely film your antiques around your house. Actually. I like that you started showing the season early, so many times someone shows a video so close to the season that it's to late to buy or decorate for that season. I love the planning ahead that you do❤

How I live vicariously through you😂 I absolutely love Autumn 🍂 but I’ve lived in such hot climates for years (now in Singapore)that I don’t even know what 4 seasons are now. So you do you…..because I for one absolutely love vintage items and cooler weather on the horizon.
Here is WI I have already seen a few trees beginning to turn color. At the end of Aug. I will decorate for Fall. In Nov. I start decorating for Christmas. I've had my patriotic décor up since May, so I'm ready for a change. My favorite item that you got was the beautiful sifter. I just love it above the peg wall.

I loved this video! Crocks are my weakness. I just went last weekend and purchased some. I’m sure you already thought of this but the colander would look great with a small strand of white lights and a small wreath on top so the lights shine through. I change the wreath out for the seasons. Fall is my weakness and I can’t wait to see what you do.

You could easily flip the greenish straight edge pot over and put a samll Christmas tree on it. The eould mallet is a vintage potato masher. Excellent find 😊 (finds)

Hi Tiffany, just wanted to tell you that the galvanized colander you bought is the same one that I got from my mom who just recently passed away. Thank you for the idea of putting pumpkins in it for fall. I’m definitely going to do that as a nice reminder of my mom.
I think that galvanized square box with the leather handle might be something that was kept by the front door to put 4 half gallon glass milk bottles. in. Just a thought.

I love that sifter. That is so neat. I live in a small house, and I have no room for anything. My husband had me looking at an estate sale. I saw some duck decoys. Those were the only things I knew I might have room for. It had four pages. I liked a lot of the things they were selling. But I have nowhere to put anything. We can’t find a thrift shop here that we like. We used to have two or three favorites back in Ohio. But we haven’t found any in Georgia. We found a consignment store. And there’s an antique mall that has reasonable prices. You did great. I liked everything you bought. I basically only have wall left to decorate. So if I find things to hang I will buy it. I would love to see a video about how you decide how you’re going to decorate with the things you have.

I love every single thing you purchased! The oversized coffee cups would make great soup mugs. I can just picture them filled with chowder. The galvanized scoop would be pretty with greenery faux cranberries, and a small pumpkin or some apples.

Another great video. I would love to see you do a video on layering pieces. I am not good at that. Maybe you could show all the different or creative ways to layer pieces or use them together. The problem with decorating early for fall is that a lot of fall stuff can stay up through Thanksgiving ( then I am sick of it ) and then we go right into Christmas decor. I kinda like a break between the seasons. But I love fall decor and just picked up a few pieces yesterday. I hope to wait until mid Sept. to start decorating.

Hi Tiffany you're absolutely right. There's almost no antiquing to be had in out here in CO. Nothing remotely close as back East where as you said, you have an abundance! If you could even find a big grain sifter like that out here, it'd probably go for 200$ easy. I actually paid 250$ for a big bee sting crock off Market Place out here. No joke! I usually start popping in a little fall here and there right after Labor Day and build as I go! 😉

The Autumnal Equinox is the start of meteorological Fall, but in the Old Style this was “Harvest Home,” aka Mabon, when the last of the harvest was finally brought in. So go ahead and put up your Fall decor, because winter starts November 1st! 🍂😉🍁
